Wasn't gonna leave one but after two text messages to leave a review, here it is. Y'all that know me, know I don't want to look 30 but only want what I pay for. Zmed fell really short and the second visit was worse than the first. Very uncomfortable position that I was placed in. REVIEW LEFT ON GOOGLE AND YELP. PLENTY OF OTHER MED SPAS AND AS A REGISTERED NURSE SPEAKING, DO NOT GO HERE!!! WORRY ABOUT MY FACE NOT THE REVIEW!!! I would have totally changed this review had they fixed my face on the second trip. Got a call to come back in to attempt to get this review changed. I was not made to feel like they cared about how I felt or looked but about the review! It was ALL about the DAMNED REVIEW. I was treated and talked to like I didn't know what I was talking about. I have literally been going there for YEARS and NEVER once complained about anything. I did and still do have wrinkles in my forehead (my main complaint). They put a very minimal amount of dysport (prob less than 30 units) to try to get this review better. Still have wrinkles and now after two wasted trips I feel just as bad about my face as BEFORE MY $1000 visit. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. Not as happy with my results this time. I have had many visits to Zmed but I don't feel that my end result this time was what I wanted or expected.

But - upon asking two close friends of mine who they recommended, they referred me to Skylar at Coastal Med Spa. I was SO nervous and Skylar made me feel so comfortable during the entire procedure. She let me take a break and talked me through it (getting lip filler is not for the weak lol). She was so attentive and caring when applying the syringes and made the experience so wonderful. I was checked on by their doctor twice to make sure I was okay. I was their only client when I went in so all attention was on me and my comfortability. When I was paying, I offered to leave a tip which Skylar very politely declined. The other med spa I went to that traumatized me put me on the spot about tipping and making it known how much I would tip if I decided to tip at all. Coastal Med Spa is THE Med Spa to go to in Corpus. It's a super cute little building next to Catfish Charlie's. The staff is so incredibly wonderful and they made my experience so amazing I'm no longer afraid to get lip injections. I'll never go to another Med Spa!

BEWARE: Of receiving ANY treatment from this doctor. Twice in the past four months have I…read moresuffered from severe vision impairment-- "double vision" (diplopia)--from complications due to Botox treatments with Dr. Vijay Bindingnavele. Currently, I am unable to work or drive a car. Only after the second occurrence of "double vision"-- from a 10/15/2020 Botox treatment was my CC ophthalmologist able to figure out that the "misplaced" injections on both occasions were the cause of my loss of vision--both on 7/17/2020 and 10/27/2020. But not before I was given multiple tests in July--brain MRI/ blood studies/ thyrotropin receptor Ab test--all of which were normal. As a board certified orthodontist and health care provider myself, I am not in the habit of writing negative reviews. That said, the severity of my symptoms and the lack of compassion from "Dr. Vijay"--as well as extreme outrage-- necessitated this review...in hopes that future patients should be at least aware of potential danger which may result from going to this doctor. Lastly, I decided a second opinion was in order and had an employee drive me to Houston for an appointment with a "world renown" ophthalmologist, whom was most helpful in diagnosing an allergic reaction I was having from some eye drops my family physician had prescribed a year earlier. After a thorough examination and dilation of my eyes, the Houston ophthalmologist ascribed my condition positively and without a doubt as "Medial Rectus Paresis" secondary to Botox (Botulism), confirming my CC ophthalmologist's diagnosis. I went to Portland Nails & Spa because every other nail salon was closed, due to the holiday. I am…read moreactually new to the area so I figured, it couldn't hurt. My husband and I stood at the entrance for at least 10 minutes after checking in, before anybody came from the back of the salon. She said it wouldn't be a problem to do my nails. Good thing because nobody else was there. She did a full set of ombré acrylics super fast. I was actually pretty impressed, aside from one of the nails was crooked when I looked closer at them. When she was finishing, she asked if I wanted a manicure too, to trim back my cuticles and "stuff". Doesn't a full set come with that?? Anyway, when she finished, she talked me into a pedicure. I got the middle package, whatever it's called. It was completed pretty quick, which I thought was weird. Halfway through, my massage chair quit working. When I went to pay, the lady had overcharged me from what their sign had advertised. At this point, I was a little irritated so I just paid. I actually gave her a pretty good tip too. The next morning, I was missing the paint on 2 of my toe nails. I got them done on a Sunday. By Wednesday, I was missing the paint on 4 nails total. The big toe on my right foot was chipped as well. I've had pedicures last for at least a month before. This was terrible quality.
