The Deets: In the past when on the annual trip to OIB, I've gone as far as Calabash to go to a barber shop. This year, I noticed Buzzed And Clipped Haircuts (BACH) when going along Beach Drive this year. I headed over to check these guys out over at Cornerstone Plaza. This cozy little barber shop is clean and new looking with a fair amount of seating inside as well as an outside bench. They do appointments and walk-ins during the week (Saturdays walk-ins only per website). There were a few in front of me, but the two barbers/stylists on duty were making good progress. This point is where they earn that fifth star from me...one of the barbers/stylists had come in on her day off, noticed a good number of customers waiting and actually took in one of the waiting customers (me, actually) to help her colleagues catch up on the day. Nice customer service moment. My head shave and beard trim were done very well, I liked the results and my barber/stylist was very personable, positive, and detail oriented as well as a great conversationalist.
