We were nervous as first-time parents about how our baby would react during the session. At one month old, he's in that stage where he wakes easily and can get fussy, so we weren't sure how it would go. But when we arrived, Alicia had everything prepared and immediately took over with such ease, patience, and kindness. She truly knows how to capture the magic and essence of your baby. We were in awe of how effortlessly she soothed and calmed our little one before, during, and even at the end of the session. Alicia is also very reasonably priced for the quality and care she provides. She is amazing with newborns. During our maternity and newborn session she seemed liked she needed a lot of guidance from her colleague and seemed unsure of what shots to take. She gave me the impression that she didn't know what she was doing and it seemed unprofessional. We received our maternity photos within the timeframe she mentioned but it took more than a month for us to receive our newborn photos. On top of that, she got my baby's name wrong on the gallery. It was a completely different name even though I texted it to her! Our package also included birth announcements which she designed but it took even longer for us to receive them! I had to remind her about them more than once! She didn't consult with us on the design, she just kind of did her own thing with it. I would've liked to see a proof or something before she finished it. When I finally got them I wasn't completely satisfied with them but at that point I didn't want to deal with returning and redesigning them. Overall, I liked how our pictures turned out but I don't think I would book her again.
