You know a photographer seriously wants to capture the best pictures of your baby if they want you to come back when baby is fed, well slept, and happy. For some reason things just didn't align well with my baby's naps and feedings that day so it was hard to manage a tired baby but they managed to get real good photos of my baby and the family. My baby didn't really smile much yet but they were still able to get smiling pictures of her too. Very professional and works so hard to get the best pictures. I was truly grateful for this studio and loved my experience. Also the picture quality was amazing!! The backgrounds were cute and the clothes were so adorable too!! The price point is reasonable and I'd say cheaper than some others for a better quality. I think the turn around time to receive the photos were faster than we expected too. Truly appreciate working with this photographer. He really seems to love what he does and we are blessed with these amazing photos!!! Couple things to note/tips: 1. Go when your baby can smile. Yes after their neck strength gets way better too. My baby still can't really smile yet and she's 4 months old. I really wanted to push having 100 day photos when she was 3.5 months old so neck strength and expressions aren't expected. 1a. Also go when your baby is well fed, pooped, rested, good condition, etc. makes a world of difference. 2. They give you a looooot of photos to choose from. Be prepared to be pleasantly overwhelmed with photos. If you get decision fatigue then ask your spouse to help. Cause I loved getting the full gamut of photos. 3. They have a wardrobe but if you want your baby to wear something specific, bring it! Their wardrobe is pretty cute tho and fits with their backgrounds. 4. They have set backgrounds to choose from in their studio. The backgrounds are really cute but if you're looking for something specific, unique, tailored to you, the studio setting might not be for you. But tbh all 100 day, dohl, event photos basically look the same...so I would think it's odd to expect something different. I've seen tons of beach engagement pics. Tons of dohl pics with the same backgrounds and balloons. So why complain about a studio pic with similar styles and backgrounds or lack of variety? You're already the unique and different baby/family. So there's that. 5. Bring a toy or something that can get your baby's attention. I realized belatedly my baby likes to stare at herself in the mirror. She also likes her little fox doll. If your baby has a preference for a toy, perhaps being prepared like that will help with the experience! 6. Match your clothes with your family and partner beforehand. Clothes, accessories and shoes too so they look cohesive in the photos! Belatedly realized my husband's shoes didn't match any of our family's and my son's also seemed a little too bright. Oh well. I reached out to the studio as I was quickly approaching my daughter's first birthday. With the craze of trying to get everything scheduled, I let slip scheduling the photoshoot. However, the studio was incredibly flexible and worked with me to find dates and times that matched our schedules. Once there, both the photographer and assistant made it easy to take photos, kept my daughter laughing, and made each outfit/background change seamless. I looked around for different studios to take our family Christmas pictures and I am glad I decided to do our photoshoot at Irin Studio. Steve and Ellie are such a dynamic duo! They were waiting for us as soon as we got there and they already had the Christmas backdrop ready to go for our shoot, along with very cool Christmas props. Brought the family in for a long-awaited holiday photo shoot and we're so thankful to have come across Steve at Irin Studio. We were traveling in from SF and in town for both work and a short vacation with our 9 month old son. It was his first time in Disney! So to be efficient, my wife and I decided to book a photoshoot during the same weekend. Steve immediately replied back to my Yelp request and was able to squeeze us in for a 30 minute shoot. Called them an hour before closing time, and they were able to squeeze me in. They were about to close, but they waited for me to help me with what I needed. I arrived at the studio, ans Ellie and Steve greeted me. The facility where their studio was at was clean, organized, and had a beautiful setup for a photography studio. Steve took my portraits in less than five minutes, while Ellie assisted. I needed the prints same day, and Steve was more than accomodating and provided me my passport photos within thirty minutes. The couple who runs the business knows what they are doing and is extremely patient with my child who cried so much. Hi everyone!! This is my second visit to Irin Studio! First one being for my maternity shoot and now (which I can't believe) my baby's 1 year old birthday shoot!! I was actually very nervous about this photoshoot because I couldn't imagine my baby actually behaving for pics but WOW. Ellie deserves so much recognition. Not only did she help me dress my baby in their cute outfit they had but she blew bubbles and went the whole nine yards just so my baby can laugh for Steve (photographer). Taking kids picture, that's one tough job! The folks at Irin Studio were super accommodating, we arrived a bit early from West LA and they immediately set up the background. Making a kid smile is no easy task and Steve was able to capture a few smiles even though my son wasn't really in the mood that day, so we're thrilled with the results! My husband & I came here with our son for his 1 year birthday photos, which included family photos in the package we purchased. PROS: The photographer and his wife were both very friendly/welcoming. The studio was easy to find, well lit & clean. No issues with parking. Price was one of the cheapest for what you get compared to other places. CONS: I was not impressed with their backdrops/themes - the props just appeared quite cluttered with too many random decorations. I was disappointed with their outfit selections. It was basically just 1 small rack of clothes that looked outdated, nothing special, and all way too small for my 1 year old (although he is a little bigger than the average 1 year old). I definitely recommend bringing your own outfits. The quality of the photos were very average, almost like anyone could have taken the photos. It didn't have that high quality studio finish. I was told that all the photos were going to be edited, and I think they were to some degree. But the most disappointing part was that there were a handful of photos that I really, really liked - BUT all of them had a huge bright purple glare on my husband's glasses! I'm not a photographer, so I'm sure sometimes it's hard to avoid getting a glare on the glasses when taking photos, but I expected it to be edited since the photographer told me he was going to edit all the photos. I really liked those photos in particular but sadly couldn't use any of them due to the huge purple glare on my husband's glasses. Overall, I would not come back here, even though the price was reasonable. I would rather pay a little more for higher quality photos. read more

Really didn't know what to expect, but ended up being an amazing experience. We showed up a bit early to the shoot, and they were able to accommodate immediately. The props, background, and the choice of wardrobe was amazing for such a small place. Most importantly, pics came out amazing. Unlike some photographers who barely take shots (JCPenny) and make you pay for the digital copy for an insane amount, this studio takes PLENTY of pics, you could create stop motion animation out of them... Thanks for the really great experience and pics. The turnaround was a bit longer than expected due to demand ( which is the case everywhere, so not on them), so if you are taking say the 1st year dol pics, I'd recommend taking it a week or two BEFORE the actual birthday, so that it'll come out a couple weeks after it. Otherwise, you may end up waiting into the 13th month and you won't have pics for that 12th month to share if you know what I mean. Finally, they works super hard to make your baby smile. I love, love, love how our pictures turned out. It was actually really hard to choose which pictures to get printed because there were so many good ones. I emailed Steve to make an appointment for my baby's 1 yr photo shoot. He got back to me very quickly and set up an appointment. The day of, we were running late (baby was still sleeping and we didn't want to wake her so she wouldn't be cranky in the pictures). He was very understanding. When we got there, him and his wife were wearing masks and took our temperatures. The studio was clean and we were also the only ones there. We picked out the backgrounds we wanted and they started shooting. Steve and Elly were great with the baby. He would shoot while she would make my daughter laugh. It was adorable. It also went by very quickly. We got family pictures and 4 backgrounds for my daughter and it took a little over an hour. Lots of outfit changes, cleaning, and setting up but there were soooo many good pictures. They had lots of backgrounds and props to choose from. The only thing I had to bring was a cake for the cake smash photo. They will also add the flowers and Korean words of first birthday later (if you want it). I will definitely use them again in the future! I know I'm getting quality work with great people. On their website is the pricing and it was exactly what was stated. I never felt like they tried to upsell me. I'm biased but I think these are the cutest pictures ever. Lol read more
