The staff is horrible!! We love Dr. Bacotti but the challenges with the staff and the extra charges are ridiculous. I've never heard of a doctor's office charging $50 per prescription in addition to the copay for the visit. There are too many options outside of OCLI that you don't need to suffer through bad service and get ripped off at the same time. read more

I will NEVER return to this office again. My experience was terrible from start to finish. The front desk associate Marie was extremely rude and dismissive, Dr. Doshi was very careless and talked over me the entire time. I wasn't given the time to ask any questions, all she wanted to do was rush me to get cataract surgery and told me that I had to get fento laser, even though I later confirmed it was NOT required. She was just money hungry as this procedure is out of pocket and not covered by insurance. Then when beginning the process of scheduling surgery I was called into a room with an extremely incompetent surgical coordinator named Shakera. They messed up my appointment, so I rescheduled. I showed up for the new one and they said my appointment was a 1/2 earlier. I said my card said this time. The receptionist asked to see my appointment card. I said it was at home. She asked for it 2 more times. I said fine, went home, got it, (I was correct), she then said I didn't have to go get it and then starts to explain "well the officer manager...." I turned around and walked out on her in mid sentence. read more

I have one star because that's the lowest score I could give. I took my husband who has early onset dementia. The technician who called us in for triage and testing asked him question. Some he was able to answer and some he was having difficulty, well when I saw him get confused I answered the question for him. The technician took offense to that and told my husband "are you going to allow her to answer for you"? When he answered yes he said I would not let my wife answer for me. At that point I let him know that he should ask why I answered the question and he would find out about his dementia. I guess he did not like my answer because he told the doctor my husband was a problem patient. After he was examined he was referred to his colleague in the Same office for surger, I made the appointment and the next day the doctor who saw him called me to tell me that I should go somewhere else because he does not think his colleague would get along with my husband. I made an appointment somewhere else and have been very happy with his care. The staff and physician we saw on the Glen Cove office sucked. And the worst part is they don't Care. read more

After a TWO hour wait I finally left. Not one apology or explanation as to why such a long wait. When I asked them, a technician said a 2 hour wait is quite common. I can't speak for the doctors there since I left without them actually finishing my exam but 2 hour wait is unacceptable for any office. read more
