I have used this concept for other events but never used this company. I was referred by friend/colleague. I was informed to bring the mirror in to the location and they would do it for me. I arrived at 3:15 pm Wednesday, August 23rd. I was told it would take a couple hours to complete. I agreed and said I would be back before they closed. When I arrived at 5:15 pm there was nothing done. I was told I would get it Thursday morning. That was not acceptable since the wedding was that day. Then I was verbally attacked by the two young people that work there. I took my item and left empty handed after wasting 3 hours of my time. I called and left a message for management. No response back. It lets me know my business did not matter and the behavior is considered part of doing business with Speedpro.

It specializes in all kinds of exotic looking furniture and glassworks and much more. the layout really gives you the urge to sit down and take a load off - but don't you dare unless you're willing to cough up the $1,000+++ price tag. Lewis Wexler used to be the former vice president of Christie's before he opened this gallery. So he definitely knows more than a thing or two about decorative 20th century design. He's also able to work with plenty of high end clients. If I'm ever obnoxiously rich I'll probably fashion that living room for people to lounge in out of stuff from here. The building itself was an amazing piece of art itself. High ceilings, original fixtures, and your typical looking bank building. They have made a few upgrades to the building, but overall it looks like how it was intended to look. Like I said, I went at my own pace here to take in what I wanted, when I wanted. Be aware of the other people in here, some of them will attempt to push you along. Just stand your ground and you will discover a bit of history that you were unaware of.

It is free and has many portraits of prominent figures that worked on building what we call America today. This location only recently reopened possibly due to government funding being low on certain venues. We were running a few minutes late for the 1pm tour and asked one of the workers there if we missed the deadline and he replied, " you guys are the tour as you are the only ones who showed up for it"! Hey, works for us lol. After stopping here, you have many spots in the immediate surrounding area you can head to. I also liked that the main event space could be changed depending on the type of event you want to host. My company went with a simple cocktail reception, but the venue had the equipment to do more (podiums, AV equipment, etc.) This is a great venue for ANY kind of gathering, but there's no excuse to host an event anywhere else for companies participating in an event at the Convention Center. I can't recommend it enough!

All this gallery ever has on display is different canvases (canvas,wood,etc.) that are painted in a combination of colored blocks. A bright summer color on one side meets a dark night color on the other. Or sometimes it's just a piece that's one color and nothing more. and the entire art display is themed that way, so you can go by every piece rather quickly without putting much thought into what the art might be about. and somehow these pieces of art (?) manage to sell for well over $500. At least the the people who work there are friendly. So at the very least it's an amusing stop to make during First Friday.
