In January I called to enquiry about installation. 5 phone calls later they advised they cancelled the order because the surveyor was not sure how they would fit the front door. No mentioned of the other 2 doors. Instead of saying sorry we've arranged this contract at a price that we can't fullfill they lied to me and said they would honour the original price for the doors except the front door that they thought would be difficult to fit. Just so they could get Jamie back to my house to requote for everything. Jamie then started to spin this web of lies to convince me that it is okay to do what they are doing. Daniel Robb the owner was pulling the strings on this process. The annoying thing is that if you look in the car park of Window Hub and find the car Daniel drives it will be an Audi or BMW. New. Probably on finance but funded by the ample profits his company is producing. Or funded by his salary even if the company isn't making any profits. This is the problem with dealing with a small business who do not have any experience of how to negotiate contract properly or plainly how to communicate. All they car about is what money they are making and how flash they are going to look in their new BMW. They have wasted my time and cost me a lot of money having to purchase doors at current inflated prices. They didn't even have an explanation that made sense or an excuse really. Zero stars on my review. I will be using Safestyle due to price, professionalism, and ability to carry out installation. Feedback I would give the WindowHub apart from the obvious is that they shold have a charity they support. Nothing. What benefit to society or the local community does Daniel Robb give? He just wants a flashy car - well that's just the way it appears and apprearances are everything. Greed is good.... as the saying goes.

It's double glazed and they also used some special filler round the edge (apparently more rogue builders just use concrete which isn't as good) so now it lasts longer and keeps in warmth/dry (Again I'm no expert!) After noting them down I checked them online and emailed them some images of the windows we needed replacing. I received a quote a few days later. I had a few questions and wanted to see some examples so I was invited to have look around their workshop in Leyton. I was very impressed and after a few tweaks to the design of the windows and french doors the order was placed. There was an onsite measure and we had an issue - we had a built in cabinet that could be a potential problem for the installation. I contacted the carpenter who made it and he assured me that he made it with replacing the window in mind. After assuring Ward we would take responsibility for any damage that occurred to the cabinet during the job we went ahead with the order. 6 weeks later I get a call and were good to go for installation. The chaps that came over were very polite and very considerate with working tidily. Apart from making a few cups of tea and occasional nail gun action I barely noticed them beavering away. After 8 hours of hard graft the job was done and we have fantastic french doors at the back of the house and we've had the glazing replaced around our front door. It's been a real pleasure dealing with a local company and we will definitely recommend them and use them again!

Well, I can say from experience that there's nothing professional about their team, and the companies they outsource to are even worse. They do not care. We were quoted a 10-day lead time from start to finish, after months the job had still not been actioned. We used another company that completed the job from start to finish in 6 days, including weekends! After complaining to Kova it took over a month with many, many emails to get a refund. They then had the cheek to ask if they could remove £400 for site surveys which THEY outsourced. We denied and said we did not consent to this deduction. After a few more weeks they FINALLY processed a refund, after lots of chasing, only to deduct the £400 regardless. To this date we are still chasing this £400, however, we are done with Kova. We have passed this over to our legal team who will proceed to claim this via legal routes. We have given this company ample opportunity to put right the mess they created, with little success. The excuses keep on coming.

The office staff needed a bit of a prod on occasion when supply, their very competitive, quote which was the best I got from all the other glazing firms I approached. I was pleased their quote was the best as I do like to try and support local small businesses. So if you need new windows give them a call.

When I originally ordered my door from HHI (Hainault Home Improvements) I was expecting a door with…read moretwo side windows and a top box, I expected the two side to line up with the windows in the top box, that's what the on online design showed and also what the surveyor from HHI clearly drew in the Door Survey Form (this is clear in the attached photos). When the door was first installed on the surface it all looked nice, however on closer inspection I found that the door was leaning forward and as a consquence when it was open it would swing itself shut. In addition to this, the top window boxes did not line up with the below windows as per the HHI Online Design and Door Survey Form. My wife and I had a lot of trouble opening the door, this was reported to HHI and a locksmith attended and advised that the wrong size cylinder was installed. After a number of emails and calls to HHI they agreed to refit the door straight and replace the lock as well as fix the top window box so it would be inline with the windows below. After the refit, the door is now straight but the top box is arguably worse than the first one. Not only is the glass still out of line with the side windows, the overall width is shorter than the width of the door leaving a 15mm gap on one side. HHI now claim that the door cylinder is the correct size. The whole experience was very stressful and the General Manager Dean Starr handled this disgracefully, I went to visit Dean to try to understand why he thought I was being unreasonable and was told '"I expected to much, it's only a £700 door" despite the fact I paid over £2000 for the door! At one point Dean even used the term "people like me" I asked Dean to explain him what he meant by that and he bumbled a load of nonsense and again said I expecting to much. With all the will in the world I could not seem to reason with this ignorant man and he point blank refused to correct the door. I have since been quoted from another company £350 to put right HHI shoddy mistakes. I seems very unfair that I have to do this as I bought the door in good faith and I find it difficult to believe any reasonable person could think this is acceptable. To be clear I was not unhappy with fitters, after all they could only fit what they were given, I would've appreciated the door being hung straight initially. I understand why it was fitted that way, however it was not discussed with me and I was never given the option of the door being hung straight or in line with the brick work at the time of fitting. The biggest disappointment was the poor attitude and attention to detail from the service department. In summary this genuinely has been the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with and I pity anyone who has the misfortune to deal with this inadequate company, frankly the service I received was shameful!
