Was told that he'd open it up and take a look, if he couldn't fix it he give it back no charge. After receiving a call that he couldn't fix it I went to pick it up. The face was all scratched up and it appears that he tried to glue the 3 back in place. The crown is also stuck in. He clearly took the watch apart and ruined the movement. When I brought this up to him he denies having ever touched the watch and claims that it broke itself. He also told me that I bought the Movado so I should have never brought it to him in the first place, I should have paid to send it back to Movado. Perhaps he's right about that, because he clearly has no idea what he's doing, and is lying about completely destroying my watch. This man is a scammer. Never take anything to him. A bunch of people I know are also sharing their horror stories with me about this man's terrible business.

I had tried other jewelry stores, and no one was even willing to attempt resizing it. Rainbow Jewelers was the only place that took a genuine interest in helping me. They gave the ring to their technician, who was willing to cut and enlarge it for me when everyone else had simply said no. While I was there, I also needed some extra links removed from my watch. I told them there was absolutely no rush, but they took care of it for me right on the spot. What impressed me just as much was the way they treated everyone who came through the door. It was a busy Friday afternoon and the store was jammed, yet every salesperson took the time to give each customer individual attention. Everyone was friendly and smiling, and despite how busy they were, no one ever seemed rushed or made a customer feel rushed. The store itself is impeccably clean, organized, bright, and well lit. It is obvious that customer service really matters here. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find businesses that provide this kind of personal service. Rainbow Jewelers certainly earned my business, and I would recommend them without hesitation. Five stars!
