I found an arrangement I like ordered the medium grade's size and asked them to delivered to a local restaurant in town. My daughter ordered flowers for me from FTD.com since she lives in NYC and I live in New Bern. She ordered a $70 Best bouquet. The flowers that were delivered from Odhams as the local florist were NOT a Best bouquet. I called FTD and they agreed it was not a Best arrangement when I told them how many stems were in the arrangement. FTD told me they would have a new arrangement delivered the next day. Dawn from Odhams called me and said that FTD did not pay Odhams enough for the $70 arrangement and that what I received is what I would get. I told Dawn that Odhams arrangement with FTD is not my concern and that Odhams shouldn't take the order if they couldn't fulfill it. Dawn demanded to speak to my daughter, just to tell her that I wouldn't be getting the flowers my daughter paid for because Odhams wont meet their obligation. I really don't want to be in the middle of this, Odhams should take it up with FTD themselves and should send me the arrangement that was paid for and agreed on. I am familiar with the FTD categories and I knew these were not the flowers paid for. I wonder how many times an arrangement has been paid for but not delivered as paid for because the recipient is unaware of what was ordered. Dawn was quite rude and aggressive, I won't be ordering flowers from them ever. FTD has agreed to send another arrangement from a different local florist. read more

Don't expect to have a good experience after your order is not what you asked for or expected. My entire experience here was terrible and the owner is very rude and extremely unprofessional. I ordered flowers back in January for a family friend because it was the 1 year mark of her boyfriends death from cancer. I specifically ordered purple roses because they had sentimental value to the girl and her boyfriend who had passed. When she received the roses I was so excited mentioning they were purple and she responded telling me they were pink. She was thankful, and it was the thought that counts, but I called and ordered from this place to make sure she would be getting purple roses before ordering. I was assured the roses being sent would be purple. I called back after our conversation and was obviously very upset that the sentiment was pretty much gone and the gift was no longer what it was supposed to be. I spoke with the Owner, Dawn, and she was very aggressive. I sent her the photos of the clearly pink roses and she claimed that you couldn't see them clearly in a photo regardless of the recipient telling me they were pink in person. She also went on to tell me that purple roses don't exist, when they very much do. I was upset at the fact that I was guaranteed purple or a shade of purple roses and the roses received were nothing close. Dawn raised her voice and I raised mine back only for her to hang up on me. After hanging up on me, she proceeded to call the recipient and ask her if she was satisfied with the roses when that was not the point of the sentiment to begin with. Her actions were extremely out of touch and very unprofessional. I would suggest purchasing from another local flower shop. There are plenty in new bern with better service and better quality of flowers. read more
