Convenient location at corner of Rackarbergsgatan. Scandinavian Breakfast was included, as a buffet in a bright, sunny room. Lots and lots of fresh food, our younger selves would have been overjoyed....it was perfect. My last travel in Europe years ago did not include a private bathroom and shower, so I was surprised and happy to have this at the Charlotte. The room was not huge by American standards but clean and comfortable with everything we needed, for a middle aged American couple with no recent European travel in years. We missed this because you must show the card at check-in. We loved Uppsala, too many things to do and see for our two day stay, with the castle, the medieval cathedral still very actively used, and the amazing museums and libraries all within easy walking for anyone moderately fit. We did not need or want a car. Had it rained, which it did not, public transport possibilities were readily available and cheap.
