All of my friends recommended that I come here and everybody goes here so I came in with my iPhone 3G, and upon inspecting it this staff told me it was not worth fixing. Listen, I'm not here to get your opinion. Just fix the phone. It needs a new screen and was not turning on. I do not have enough money to buy a new phone. If the customer wants you to fix it, fix it, you cannot refuse someone. They said it really is an old phone and will have more issues down the line. After I literally HAD TO YELL AT THEM to fix my phone. They said they couldn't even get parts for it for a couple weeks. HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE THESE PARTS IN STOCK. This is an iPhone 3G. Eric was immediate with his responses and more than happy to help.. On a Sunday. On Father's Day! I dropped my phone off to him and went out for errands, thinking it would take awhile. Little did I know that Eric had this done for me within 10-15 minutes! It was all ready when I came to pick up it and he was even kind enough to throw in a tempered glass screen protector ! On a Sunday my charger port went bad. They were open! At 4 PM! Convenient location. The owner Eric would not respond to calls but sent me a text to drop off my phone. The employee was extremely polite and gave me a loaner phone (!) that didn't work. I returned, and after trying three more phones, I left with a loaner phone with a bad speaker. I was told my phone would be ready by Wednesday or Thursday. It wasn't. Eric tried to fix the speaker on the loaner phone unsuccessfully. I could only text, and had to return all my calls from my landline after work. Here's the clincher: Eric is a very nice young man, but does not respond to calls and barely responds to texts. He is intelligent and knowledgeable but the communication factor is seriously an issue. He finally sent my phone out to be soldered. I got my phone back on Sunday. He was unphased it took so long and minimally acknowledged the delay. One other caveat: he gave me a new charger that has a 2 inch cord, and now it is the only one I can use since the port has been changed. It's almost time for a new phone anyway. The price was very reasonable and the employees are very nice, as is Eric. To add insult to minimal injury, I dropped two tablets off. After multiple texts on my end, Eric told me they were not worth fixing and he was looking for a more cost effective solution. One needed a charger port and the other needed a cord. After no reply I picked them up. Sigh. If communication was improved upon greatly they could have received five stars. I would use this place again in an emergency situation. read more

First time I went there they didn't have the iPhone 12 Pro back glass , took them two weeks to get it. When they did finally get it an install it my phone doesn't do that animated Apple symbol on the screen when you put it in the case. Went back a second time cause the back cracked again , he took the back off and then realized he didn't have the glass back for it , again. Literally the most popular part of the iPhone that breaks. Where to begin...This is for a repair I had done there back in December. I brought my Samsung Galaxy S8 for repair because they are the recommended local squaretrade repair shop. I needed the front screen and back glass replaced. I called first to let them know, they told me ok come in repair should take about an hour. When i arrived they told me that did not have the parts to complete the repair and they would call me when the parts came in. A few days later, no call back so I reach out to them and they let me know they have the parts in. I show up and they only have the front screen, no back glass. I come back for the third time a few days later, this time they have the parts and tell me the repair will be done in about 90 minutes. I come back 90 minutes later and they tell me it's going to be another hour. I come back an hour later and still had to wait for them to finish. I started having issues with my phone shortly after the repair. The front camera is blurry to the point of unusable. About 2 months later the front screen started to lift away from the frame. So the edge is uneven, and I would assume the phone is no longer water resistant. Now the I am having issues with the speaker (Not sure if this is due to the repair) Maybe this shop is good for fixing iPhone screens, but I would definitely not recommend using them for any other device. Because of the poor communication, I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I have been using Odyssey for years and have never had a bad experience until now, hence the 3 stars - I'm hoping that this was just a one-off experience and not the beginning of the end. Never had an issue with Odyssey before. My devices have always been fixed same day (within 24 hours if they had to order parts). However, on the most recent occasion, the store was in total disarray. Garbage in various places, the floors looked like they hadn't been swept recently, molding missing in several locations, and lots of areas desperately needing new paint. The screen they put on my phone began to peel in less than a week. I brought it back, they glued it back down, and it has since began peeling again. Prior to this visit, I would say it had been at least a year since I was last at this business. I'm not sure if perhaps the ownership changed during that time, or if the current ownership has gotten lazy, but something has definitely changed. As stated previously, I've only had positive experiences here prior to this most recent visit, so I'm hoping that this was just a one-off type of thing. read more

Does anyone know if Odyssey uses cheaper screens, when replacing screens on iPhones, then the ones that originally come on the iPhone from Apple? This place is terrible and unprofessional. Eric always looks stoned and the whole team seems like they've never actually spoken to humans before. They don't greet you or ask what's the issue when you come in, they just stand around like zombies. I brought my phone in and then they forgot about me. I needed to keep calling because they hadn't started any work for a couple of days. Eric said he needed to send it out to replace the motherboard, and the quote was the same price as buying the same phone new and sealed. And he didn't even know whether that would work. I want to start by saying the employees are pleasant, helpful & do fast work. My dissatisfaction comes from the glass quality & store policy. I got my glass replaced on October 24th. Two weeks later my screen cracked. My phone had minimal impact against my kitchen counter. The crack was small so I decided to call the purchase a loss. Well within a weeks time the crack has spread to all ends of my screen. I was told if it breaks within a month they would offer a discount on another replacement. I support local businesses but I expect them to stand behind their work & materials. I would also like to add my battery drains twice as fast since my screen got replaced.
