The best part about that was it was done in about 3 hours. The iPad has worked perfectly since then. The second time I went into this store was just this afternoon looking to see if they could help me with my older son's iPhone 5S. You see the big company we call Apple, pushed out an IOS 9 update before all the kinks were worked out and well I was told by two apple employees that the update killed my son's phone because it was too old (it isn't even two years old yet). Their idea of a fix was to update his phone to the new iPhone 6plus using their new leasing. Well I am not satisfied with that answer so I have been searching for help. Here is where, Nora, comes in. She was in the Deer Park location and as soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted by her and she listened to my problem and right away she was off and running trying to help me fix my son's phone. She genuinely cared about it not working and tried everything she could. She actually got further along then either Apple Rep did and showed more compassion about the problem then the Apple employees. Although we still have not figured out what went wrong with his phone, we are at least a step closer to an answer. Do NOT hesitate to use this location for any and all of your repair needs. Brought my pristine Pixel 9 Pro XL here for a vertical green line running from the bottom to the top of the screen. This is the exact qualifying symptom under Google's 3-year Extended screen display Repair Program. The policy clearly states the free screen replacement is only voided if the display is cracked, the cover glass is damaged, or there is liquid intrusion. My phone was fully functional with zero issues, no glass damage, and had none of the damage specified by Google. Despite this, the staff took my phone to the back and claimed "minor display screen dings and scratches" not visible to the human eye, to deny the free repair--the exact same scripted excuse they gave another customer with a perfect Samsung phone standing right next to me.They systematically deny valid manufacturer warranties just to trick you into paying out-of-pocket fees. I walked out, contacted Google, and they recommended the next closest store so I went there 3 days later to the Garden City uBreakiFix location instead.They fixed my phone under warranty for FREE in under 2 hours with zero hassle--no questions asked or advance warnings given. Just examined the phone and proceeded with repairs. I would never recommend uBreakiFix Bethpage to family & friends. Hopefully they change their tactics and become honest in their dealings. It was a waste of time and a wasted trip; I should have looked up their reviews first. The manager hid in the back like a coward and made the counter person tell me that they aren't accepting the warranty because of these deep scratches in the screen but otherwise the warranty would have been covered because they don't think Google would accept it. This manager is an absolute loser. Happy when these stores close down. Stay away from these scum.

I had broken my screen on or about March 7th, and made a few calls to try and get it repaired…read more Everyone wanted me to drop my phone off for a few days and wanted over $200. When I called Kevin at Red Hot, he wasn't sure if he had a replacement in stock and would call me back. He called me back within 15 minutes and said he has one in stock, but the color was not the same. I really needed my phone, so I didn't care about the color. He also explained that I could not get OEM because my phone is so old. No one else told me that. He told me to come down and within 30 minutes he was done. I was so happy, iI went home and put on a new scree protector. It wasn't until the next day that I noticed that I wasn't able to type "e or 3". I downloaded a screen tester and found a dead spot. I called Kevin immediately and he said he woul order another screen. It came on a week later and he changed it within about 3 hours, he was extremely busy that day. The next day I noticed that ghe volume up button was not working, another defective part. What are the chances? Within minutes he took some part of the defective screen piece and put it on the new one. Now it's working great!
