I heard how she dealt with them and she was so friendly and knowledgeable and just listened to what they were looking for. The customers were really happy and enjoying the shopping experience. The two ladies working were not only incredibly helpful, they were incredibly funny and incredibly pleasant. We were immediately directed to the large selection of wrapping paper and shown where the various colours and "wedding" styles were. "Which of the 2 weddings are you going to?" our helpful attendant queried. I informed her that we were on our way to Chris and Jacinta's. "Ahh, I'll see you there later! I wrapped my gift in purple and yellow." Clearly, Golden is a small town and she exhibited that she knew Chris well. Jessica and I selected an appropriate "wedding" paper, located scissors and tape easily and inquired about wedding cards. The other lady pointed us in the right direction and helpfully informed us, "Just don't get the one that says, 'God bless your marriage.' A couple people got that one already." Ha! Brilliant. After confirming that no one else had yet bought the same wrapping paper that we selected, we paid for our extremely reasonably priced purchase and made our way to the ceremony. Thank you, Golden Dollar Store! You saved us in a pinch!

By resources, I could mean food and toiletry basics because they definitely carry that too, but mostly I mean liquor. :) You're not going to find anything too awe inspiring in this store, but what I like about them is even though they are on the hill, I didn't feel like they completely gouged me on the prices. Mickeys (350 ml) were around $15 and 2-6's (750 ml) of liquor were late $20s to early $30s. ...Just like me, so thank you for letting me purchase said booze without me ID. See you again!

This store was truly a life saver, the wide variety of supplies available is perfect and beyond more than what you'll need!
