I was in town (Golden) doing some grocery shopping, while on vacation, for the family. Before heading back to the cabin, I spied a very familiar sight. I texted my wife and asked (permission) if our girls might want something from their favorite eatery. The answer was, of course, yes. And since I had just seen their latest commercial advertising a Chicken Big Mac, I couldn't resist picking one up for her. The shop is just like any other McDonalds you have ever entered = reasonably clean, very fast service, McCafe options. I was also pleasantly surprised that the staff were INCREDIBLY friendly. The prices are on par with home (Honolulu), so I wasn't broke upon leaving. The food was as good as it was familiar. The Mrs said the Chicken Big Mac was so good that she was surprised that they hadn't added it to the menu earlier. All in all, this was above average for a McDonald's joint, but it's still fast food. Oh and you can get poutine here - if you're looking for regional/unique foods. There were staff cleaning up the tables and emptying garbage cans. The restaurant was well maintained for a busy location. Fries were pipping hot and crispy. My burger was alright. Nothing fancy, but kept us fed to keep going.

This store was truly a life saver, the wide variety of supplies available is perfect and beyond more than what you'll need! Thank you to the helpful staff for assisting me with my purchases and even recommending great bottles of wine for my friends and I to enjoy. Be sure to inquire about the delivery service too. You just don't see that level of caring and attention put into auto repair these days. Our van is a unique rig, and Colin put in a lot of effort to find schematics to help him troubleshoot our issue. They were thorough enough to have the confidence in their diagnosis and solved the problem in one shot. Given our van was from the US, further effort was required to track down a USDM spec PCM that matched. They managed to get it fast tracked to the shop and had us back on the road in 2 days! They even allowed us to limp our van back to camp while we waited for the parts to arrive. Superb customer service and all-around awesome team. I was also extremely pleased with the reasonable price I was charged in a situation where they could have easily taken advantage of us. Wish I could bring this shop back to Portland with me!!
