We asked what they are and he explained that a Kumla is a Norwegian Dumpling. They sounded good and since we were on vacation we decided to try them. They are REALLY GOOD!! Well, I thought I'd take a chance on the rooms being good too.... Turns out the rooms were just fine! While a little dated, they had all the usual amenities and were very clean. Staff is also pretty friendly. I also have to say, the restaurant lived up to and IMHO surpassed the reviews. This is a scratch kitchen set up so the food was fresh and the chef/owner is amazing! The flavor profiles were all on point. The first night I had the fried chicken and my son had a burger. Just when you think you've seen it all with those staple dishs, I ended up being blow away! The chicken was probably some of the best I've ever had. In the 2nd night, my son tried the Mac and cheese and finished with the cheescake - he usually doesn't like either but he loved them here!!
