Printing station did not want to help after I examined for help. And the guy wasn't even doing anything just chatting with his co-workers.

Needed to print some last minute docs. Arrived at 6:40 and the two employees lounging in the tech support area told me the "print center closed at 6" but I could use the self-serve center. This was acceptable to me. But, the only thing about thr self service center that worked was the credit card reader. The "email an address and get a code to print did nothing. I was the only customer in the store and neither employee tool time to check on or offer to assist me. I was pretty disappointed. read more

Office Depot always finds a way to keep me coming back even though it's not my preference. I like the Staples printing process and the privacy because at Office Depot the employees can read what you are printing; however, the printing quality at Office Depot is always very nice. Additionally Office Depot saved the day when I needed to print but my phone had died. They have a phone charging station in case your phone has died. Trust me, when your business is on your phone you use up your battery and the last thing you need is for it to die right when you need to print an important document. I've also come to learn that they are now joining with Alibaba.com which is one of my favorite companies although I can't figure out exactly how the partnership works. I also like that I can fedex my packages right there in the store. The employees at the location are cool as well. If you have a problem, they have the solution. read more

Closing at 6pm doesn't really mean that at this location. I remembered I needed something from there late Sunday. I got to the store at 550 and the doors were already locked. This is another reason why people are ordering items online and not going to brick and mortar stores. read more

OMG I have a new store! I paid $1.19 per copy of cardstock at Staples yesterday. Five copies of the same thing on their heaviest paper was less than a dollar! I'm in love! Not to mention they still have regular office supplies, desks, computers, printers, etc. So much better than Staples. read more

Very poor service! For some reason the print department just couldn't print and cut the business cards correctly. After two attempts and a week of delays the cards were still off center. The associates blamed it on them being so busy and finally they blamed the machine and suggested that I should have gone to the Goldsboro store because "their equipment worked better." It appeared that no one wanted to be there as they all seemed very unhappy which resulted in the associates not taking responsibility for the unacceptable work produced. Drive another 30 min and go to a different store if you want your print done correctly because this store has hired the worst staff possible. read more

Emailed documents to be printed and stapled. Was emailed back stating order would be ready for pickup 1:30 pm. Stopped by store at 3:30 pm, they hadn't even started running the order. Man in the print department said they had been busy, and showed no sense of urgency in getting the order ready. When pressed, he said he was going to have to get some help to get the order ready, again no sense of urgency in doing so. Spoke with the store manager Matt, who basically told us we should cut them some slack because they had been very busy. I could actually understand and deal with that. Things happen. But, no apologies. No empathy for the fact that we were late leaving town due to them. And, when they did bring us the documents they had not stapled them! They told us that the order did not state "stapling." I told them to check and when they did it clearly said "stapled." I asked for a stapler and stapled them myself because, again, no sense of urgency or even a hint that they cared that they had -- again -- disappointed a customer. When I told the manager how frustrated I was with him and the individual running their print department he told me I should be grateful he had the employee stop doing other things to take care of our order. No sense of customer service at all. Incredibly disappointing experience. I will never be back. read more

Terrible customer service, especially the front of store and the print department. I placed a simple print order, and did not hear back from them. After two weeks, I finally called (something I should have done sooner, these people are obviously not on their feet with anything) and they told me they had never even put the order into their system, despite the fact that I watched them do so, watched them put my contact info into their "system", selected the type and size of prints, ect. After nearly 10 minutes of conversation on the phone with the print department that went nowhere, I decided to just take the flash drive containing the prints into the store and have them re-printed. Waited about 45 minutes at the store for them to make the prints, and they came out the wrong size! So I left the store, being reassured I would be able to pick up the correct prints the next day. Well, the next day I called to see if the prints were ready, and spent about 20 minutes on hold (the store is never busy and has plenty of employees). Turns out they were still not ready. I'm officially giving up, and will NEVER give this Office Depot (or maybe any) my business again. If you want something done right, save yourself a headache and go to Staples. read more
