I was a little disappointed to see there wasn't much of a deal section in the entrance. I loved how they moved most of the holiday clothing towards the front of the store rather than spacing it out in all of the individual sections. It made it fun to walk in and see all of the Christmas gear. I was happy to find that the inventory on the app seemed to match what was in the store and was able to find everything I was looking for.

Like this would be the kind of story a manager might tell in training to motivate new employees. I was looking for about 20 frames that are an unusual size - they're poster size, but i was looking for a frame a little nicer than the plastic poster frames you'd normally see - and found only 6 on the shelf. The woman who helped me is named Rachel (98% sure on that) and she went above and beyond the call of duty. Rachel looked up the inventory of the store to see if they may have had more. Luckily for me, they did. Rachel looked in all of the storage places she thought the extra inventory might have been (just to make sure the 6 that I had were really the only 6 left in the store) and she found me 2 more. Then she went on to look up the inventory at other stores, called the Colerain store and waited on hold to see if they had more in stock than this location, and while she was waiting she checked online to see if I could maybe order the frames that way. It was awesome. I left the back of the store 12 short of my goal, but knowing that there was no stone left unturned. This awesome experience didn't stop there. While I was in line to checkout, Rachel came to find me with a different style of frame, but right size, in hand to see if that would work. It felt as if I was there to borrow a cup of flower..that kind of friendliness. Kristi gave me the show of the place and answered all my questions. She is the complete reason I went home and joined Crown Rewards and a KOC member. The employees should recieve some type of bonus when customers join. Once all the benefits of either memebership is explained in detail, it is too good to pass up, not to mention great external customer relations. I have been to the store quite often since joining and they go well over average in appreciating your business and stopping in the store. Customer service is dying just as fast as the pay phone. Joey was very friendly and chatted it up with us as well. I have visited this location quite often. Sometimes to talk or just take another look around for you will miss the most unique items if you just visit for a card or are in and out. Very disappointed that Christmas items, when it's almost MAY, are discounted only 50%. My partner and I Bought a Ps4 Pro and a few games at this location. unfortunately when we got home…read moreand opened the box, it was not a ps4 pro but the regular version. so we called and drove back to the store. we live about 20-30 minutes away so this was a little inconvenient for us. when we got to the store the employee (their name is Lynx) was beyond helpful and very kind. they helped us out and gave us a very good deal for the inconvenience. it was also overall a very welcoming and friendly environment. i highly recommend this location and i hope Lynx is appreciated and being paid as much as they deserve! Once was earlier this year (around December/January) when I needed a new Xbox One controller, but they did not have the new ones in stock. I had to drive to Walmart to get one. The second time was today. I arrived at 7:58 and one of the employees was outside locking the doors for the 8 o'clock close. Keep in mind, the sun is still out and there are still plenty of people shopping especially on a Friday afternoon. I understand it costs money to pay hourly wages for employees, but if you aren't going to be open until at least 10 during the weekend, why would you even be open at all? I hope that maybe GameStop can transition over into becoming an online realtor, so customers like myself do not have to deal with these unnecessary issues that cost the business probably thousands of dollars each year.

On my most recent visit I took advantage of order ahead online for pickup, as I wanted to make sure they actually had the items I wanted before driving all the way over here. They did indeed have what I ordered. Upon arrival I was able to park in the designated spaces and take advantage of their curbside pickup option. Service was prompt. What I generally utilize this chain for is seasonal/holiday items. Make sure to watch for sales and coupons (join their free rewards program) as this is what makes prices reasonable. They do tend to have holiday items that are unique to them and cost way less (lights, decor, etc).

Good for them. While browsing their random $1 DVD section I did come across quite a find. Episodes of that random 90's Saturday morning NBC show "California Dreams". Ha..what a blast from the past. I had forgotten all about that show..it was basically a B-version of "Saved by the Bell"..well..which was a B-version of a prime time sitcom..which would make "California Dreams" a double B version of..I dunno..no need to go down that rabbit hole. I felt so disturbed by her presence I asked her manager if she could finish the transaction because "Sarah" didn't know the difference left from 4.26$ after I gave her 3.00 in change. The customer In line behind me began talking about how her purse is so heavy from all the change she saves up, and that she wants to spend her change as well here. I specifically told this employee "Sarah" so they have to wear gloves and if not, do not touch the fuzzy item I'm about to purchase. I scanned item myself and set it in other side of register because she isnt wearing gloves. After I scanned it my self "Sarah" went out her way to touch the fuzzy item I place on the other side of the register. There was literally no rhyme or reason. She just touched it than started at me very mischievously. I nicely asked her not the item and she did with her finger that just could have just been up her dirty ........... for all I know.
