From the first time that we met Jack, we knew he was special. Not only was he friendly, but knowledgeable and gave us a fair estimate. We decided to go with him and his team for this addition and we have never looked for another contractor! As we started working with Jack, we realized quickly that he was something special. For that first addition, the township had told us that we needed to go before a board to get a variance in order to be able to do the work. Jack went the extra mile for us, talking to the zoning board director and even coming to the hearing to speak on our behalf. He did a phenomenal job on that addition and so it was a no brainer to do the very large next project several years later - an extended garage and master suite over it. Again, Jack showed up with his fabulous and friendly crew to complete this job from the ground up in no time! During the process, Jack was available daily to work with us to ensure that the addition was exactly what we wanted. It is a beautiful space that is just what we expected! Well we weren't done yet...We are currently undergoing a full first floor renovation with Jack and crew and it is already well worth it! Jack has an eye for detail and loves what he does, so this renovation will be no different than any of the others. We already know we are going to love it for years to come. Jack is not only fair in his pricing, but will be honest with you and take the time to try to make your dreams come true. Jack and his team really are different than your average contractor, and I am proud to be able to now call him a friend. My wife has coined the phrase, "There goes that Jack Grace. Beautifying the neighborhood one house at a time!"

I booked an appointment with one of their sales reps. He asked for a 30 minute window for arrival time (9am-9:30) which I agreed to. Typically, I set specific times for appointments and arrive at that time. I received a call at 8:25am from the guy saying he would be there at 9:06. He asked if I would be there at that time. I said I'd be there closer to 9:30. He said, " how do you figure? The appointment was between 9 and 9:30." Correct, I said. "Well "I can't just sit around and wait for you," he said. "But that's what you expected me to do, right?" The guy started getting more frustrated and argumentative, so I told him to forget about it. I'd call another company. 20 minutes later, it still didn't sit well with me. If it was my company, I'd want to know if the people I was paying were sending my customers to my competitors, so I called customer service. After telling the rep what happened, she told me that she only handles complaints for a different component of their business and said she would forward me to a supervisor. I tried to have her just relay the message and let them call me back once they'd figured out a solution, but I was put on hold. A few minutes later, someone picked up the phone, then hung up! I never heard from them again.

Summary: Incomplete cleaning, then they ghosted me entirely…read more Bit of a bizarre experience: I reached out to them after finding them on Angie's List. They got back to me right away that day, had a good conversation, and scheduled a cleaning. I'd asked during that initial chat that they also clean the microwave, they said sure no problem. The first cleaning was okay--bathrooms were great, but it was clear that they hadn't vacuumed most carpeted areas as there were still little bits of debris that even a quick pass would have caught. They also ignored the microwave entirely. They left me a voicemail a few days after the first service, asking for feedback. I called back, told them that overall it was good, but that if we were to move forward with regular cleaning, we'd like them to be sure and vacuum, and to do the microwave as we had discussed. No answer. Over the following three weeks, I left four more voicemails, asking to schedule our next cleaning, and recurring cleaning going forward. To this day they've never gotten back to me. If they're too busy to take on new customers, that's fine; just tell me. If they took offense at me pointing out their incomplete cleaning approach, that's bizarre, but, again, they could just respond and say they're not interested in helping us. To just disappear off the face of the planet is a huge inconvenience and now not only do we have to find another cleaner, we're a month behind on housecleaning, just because these folks couldn't be bothered to spend 30 seconds and get back to someone who was trying to give them money on a regular basis going forward. They did a decent enough job, and my initial impression and conversation were positive, so if there's a good explanation for this bizarre behavior, I'd be willing to talk it through with them... but as it stands, it's weird and unacceptable for a business to do this kind of thing.
