This review pertains to my first hand experiences with Leman Academy Sierra Vista during the…read more2023-24 school year and my three children enrolled in third grade and kindergarten. I do not recommend this school for any purpose to any parent, be extremely cautious if you are considering this school. My kindergarten age child was assaulted by Leman Academy staff in spring 2024 for random and varied reasons. We were horrified, repeatedly asked the school to stop, and they only escalated the aggression. I am working through legal and other processes to obtain resolution, the school caused immense harm to my child. We have received zero recourse from Leman Academy, they have been dishonest, combative, and smug in meetings to discuss these events. My child was also severely bullied during the school year, including one child threatening to have my child shot and killed, and another child repeatedly scratching him so badly he had deep bleeding wounds on his arms. The school went to significant effort to conceal the threat of firearm violence incident and we were not notified until many hours later via phone call. I do not trust the school's ability nor intention to keep children safe from bullying. Administrators repeatedly violated the privacy of my children with other individuals who were not parent/guardian, causing harm to my family. Leman Academy charges tuition for full day kindergarten even though they experienced severe staffing challenges and hired poorly qualified personnel. Numerous area schools offer full day kindergarten for free, there is zero benefit to paying Leman Academy for full day kindergarten. I strongly caution all parents against bringing their children to this school. Any school can present a professional image in a brief tour, what truly matters is how your children are treated once the school year begins and you are not there to protect your children. We repeatedly and diligently tried to find resolution with Leman Academy in over a dozen meetings during the school year, and due to the school's low regard and clear disdain for parents seeking dialogue, were unable to do anything but remove our children from the campus to avoid any further harm. I have substantial documentary evidence regarding all of these events and statements, my review is based solely on these facts.

This was a GREAT school back about 7 or 8 years ago when we 1st enrolled our son there in the 6th…read moregrade but as soon as their budget was slashed about 2 years after that it went ,seemingly,out of control downhill.This school has next to no extra curricular activities,no after school tutoring and the teachers are terrible,except for ,maybe 1 or 2 exceptions.My son's math teacher gives the students one chance to understand the lesson and if they don't get it right away she shuts them down and they don't learn,which is exactly what happened to my son and as a result he won't graduate with the rest of his class. in fact the school is run so poorly that they won't even be having summer school so my son won't be able to make up his one missing credit in geometry until DEC! When I called the school to try to talk to somebody there about what to do should my son not graduate she would barely discuss it with me.It was bad enough ,last week,when they wouldn't allow my son to go on his senior trip but now they are saying they won't even let him participate in the graduation ceremony next week with all of his friends,because of that 1 little missing credit. I have heard of a lot of HSs allowing the student to participate,they are just handed an empty diploma holder .CAS is treating my son like a criminal when he is a GREAT person who has never given them ANY trouble in the 7 or 8 yrs that he has been going there.I am so upset that I am going to file a report on them to the school board.

After three weeks of waiting for brochures... in-house machine broken... he did right. The hand jammed brochures came out haphazard. Effort noted. Not a professional appearance. He had them redone professionally via machine. It's his effort to correct a wrong that reflects customer awareness and ensuring that quality ($$) at a high price needs to be upheld.
