We are school of choice and they provide bus transportation for my Child, we just have to meet down the rd at an alternative bus stop, which is 2 minutes down the road instead of having to drive the 15 minutes in. The Teachers are also very encouraging to the students, and they now offer online courses in which you get your full diploma for high school students.

I actually have to schedule an appointment with my salon at home to fix everything. Color - An instructor consulted on this and gave instructions different than what the student wanted to do. Turns out that the instructor was wrong. When my hair was dried she came back and said "oh, this looks nice". Really? I had blotches all over my head. Cut - I asked for a cut to bring my longest length up to the shortest layer - get rid of the layers. I was told that I didn't have any layers and they proceeded to trim it. When I redid my hair myself, the layers are 1"-2" shorter than the length of my haircut. Very obvious layers. The student was very nice, but the experience was money wasted 100%. I still have to pay for a color and cut fix and hope they can squeeze me in quickly.

He is currently a second year in the primary class. He has thrived in this atmosphere and without question stands out from his non Montessori peers. Stepping Stones is a private entity with reasonable tuition rates. I love the fact the lead guides have been there for a long time and are really invested in the welfare (saftey and development) of the students. There is a focus on the environment/nature, foreign language (Spanish), music, art and Yoga. This place is pretty impressive. Many parents send their children to traditional day cares where they learn little. You just have to observe to believe that the Montessori method works. I come from a traditional schooling approach and am amazed by this school, faculty, instruction and the resulting kids.
