I purchased and had a door installed by Shore Glass in Northfield NJ as they came recommend by my…read morecontractor. The door is for a custom handicap shower I had built for my disabled mother. The shower features a large bench seat that will allow her to be moved from a wheelchair into the shower with ease. Their original installation team noted a potential issue, we resolved it, and they gave us the green light. The installation team took measurements three times, and were confident in delivering the product as requested. Since the door has been installed, it has been leak after leak. All they have done is add more seals here and there without any actual resolution. At this point they have been ignoring my elderly mother's calls and texts. It is obvious that their team slapped together a door without understanding the requirements for the shower. The order of the doors is backwards for a double slider, and they should never said they could install a door for a shower configuration they did not understand. Any good contractor worth their salt would modify their product accordingly for no charge to take care of the door I purchased for my mother. The contractor who I hired to build the shower has been extremely accommodating and sympathetic throughout this ordeal and I will continue to give him business. I recommend purchasing a standard door from Home Depot or Lowe's instead of a custom door from Shore Glass. The door from Shore Glass was $3000 and I have not received a door or service of quality relative to that cost.
