It's not too expensive compared to other big Brazilian brands and it's supposed to be good quality. Our friend told us about this place and heard it was a good place to pick up some beachwear and kanga wraps (cloth for covering up after the beach). It had a good sized space with a variety of dresses and tops. Everything ranged from grande, mediano,or pequeno (large medium or small) or it was a one size fits all. There are no changing rooms but they let you try things over your clothes. They have piles of kangas with a variety of patterns and colors but you have to sort through them and they're all folded and stacked in piles. I didn't see much of the more popular touristy ones like Cristo or Copacabana patterns but they might have been Ina different pile. I did find one with a brazil flag. It looks like the wholesale store for the beach guys. Definitely a place to look if you want a wrap or are looking for presents. The sales ladies are quite nice too.

I see these items featured in tourist places like Pão de Açúcar and Forte de Copacabana but they also make items that are great for everyday use. Wallets, keychains, luggage tags, iPod holders, glasses cases, and travel items. Another great thing is that they change their designs every so often so it keeps things fresh and give you a good excuse to keep checking into their store. This also lets them have great sales like the one that's going on now, to clear out older merchandise and make room for the new lines. They have great customer service and are bilingual so its easy to make purchases. They will wrap things if you tell them it's a gift.

Aside from the solids, they have tons of the licensed characters including Flintstones, Star Wars, Snoopy, and Minions. For women, they have the Swarovski line. If they don't have your size, ask because they do have some stock though hidden in bins, boxes, and in the back. For an added treat- ask for their paper gift bags to present your treasures.
