I've been contemplating on getting eyelash extension for the longest time...Honestly, if you know me, I'm not very good at the typical girly upkeeps. I originally came to see Lili for a keratin brow treatment. My eyebrow hair is coarse and stubborn, and they didn't take to the treatment as expected. Lili suggested that I try microblading instead, and offered to apply my keratin brow payment as a credit towards a future session because she also didn't like the way my brows turned out. It took me a while to commit to a nanoblading session; I was afraid of how "permanent" it seemed. Lili made the process so easy and made me feel very comfortable during both sessions. For example, during my first session, I was nervous about the color being too dark so she suggested we start with a lighter color because it would be easier to go darker during the follow up session versus the other way around. I've had eyelash extensions for about 1.5 years now and continue to get them because with two toddlers, I only have a few minutes to get ready to go anywhere. I think it's important to keep a minimum amount of care towards your appearance for a happy marriage and lashes and hair are the only two splurges I do on the regular. When I went to see Lili, I came in pretty stressed and was pleasantly surprised how relaxed and calm I felt with her. I love how gentle she was. My eyes are sensitive and at other places, their glue tends to burn a bit. I thought this was normal. With Lili, I felt no pain or discomfort. When she was done, my lashes were full and gorgeous. Believe the Yelp ratings, Lili is professional, responsive, and super sweet. I know not everyone has the time or feels the need to have a website and I never hold it against a business if they don't but it's always a plus for when they do have a website and provides the information that potential clients might need in order to make an informed decision. I recently visited Lili as a first time client and getting a lash lift for the first time in general. I made an appointment on her website which was easy and got a response from her right away when I had a question about my appointment. Her studio is clean and bright, Lili herself is wonderful and down-to-earth and I could literally talk to her for hours even though I just met her (and I hate people). As for the Yumilash keratin lash lift procedure itself, there is no pain involved - you're just going to lay down, Lili will work her magic and in an hour open your eyes and you just look immediately more awake. I chose the lash lift because I wanted something with impact but would still keep my lashes healthy and require little to no maintenance. I've gotten lash extensions in the past and although I love the look of the extensions for a few weeks, I always notice that I lose more lashes whenever I get them (this is just me, I have friends who never have this problem and get extensions consistently), so I prefer to just keep my lashes healthy and wear some mascara when I need a little extra drama. I've been to so many places in the past and just never went back because either they didn't listen to what I wanted or the lashes fell out within a week. Lili is super sweet and asked the right questions to get the best lash extensions for my eye shape. I don't know the jargon so she simplified and showed me different pictures so I can choose myself what I preferred. As for the curl shape, she recommended D curl to open my eyes which was the perfect amount of curl. I ended up getting a hybrid of volume and individual because I have barely any lashes naturally. It has been 2 weeks and my lashes still look so beautiful every morning!! The retention rate for her lashes are just amazing. Every single lash is placed on precisely and it looks so natural but also dramatic at the same time. Yes, they will fall out but that's the normal growth cycle of eyelashes which she also explained to me in perfect detail. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about her work. The thought of keeping my eyes closed and having to lay still makes me sick to my stomach. I'm glad I got out of my comfort zone and got my first ever lash lift. She is a stickler for cleanliness and personal hygiene, which is really important because she is working very close to your eyes! 2. She can carry a conversation while she's lashing. You are stuck in a room for 45 mins - 2 hours- might as well get to know your lash artist. 3. & she also understands when you need your nap. Last time I saw Lili, I brought a throw blanket, listened to music, and caught up on some sleep. Next time I'll take a photo of how beautiful my lashes are (once shelter in place is lifted and I can get a lash appointment). I've come to Lili for lashes now since early 2019, and have loved how they look. I usually go for the 11s, as they look perfect and not too noticeable, just like I wake up with perfect lashes. For lash care, I use a lash shampoo with a brush at least once a day to make sure the eye area stays clean. They usually last about 2-3 weeks before I decide to go in for a fill (if I wait a month, they start to look a bit more sparse, though they still look great).
