I've looked for a few years now, for somebody that will color my hair the way I would like. Everybody says they can do balayage but I have come to learn the hard way, that that is not true. There is a specific technique to get the right look and Christine the owner is certainly a pro. It takes a long time and it's not inexpensive, but the results are amazing! I got a natural set on 03/06 by 03/13 I no longer had single lash. I waited 72 hours to get my lashes wet and did not use any product near or on my eye. Super disappointing that the product did not last. I had many lashes that were glued together causing pulling and a couple like the picture below. Super disappointed because the tech was friendly and the space was clean. This is not my first time getting lashes so I know how to take care of them to make them last and I Really wish they would've lasted as I wanted to get a fill but had nothing to fill. read more

My fiancé and I were just married in the Grand Canyon. This shop was recommended by our wedding planner. We had a contract with this company to do the brides hair and makeup prior to the wedding but she never showed up. Prior to the wedding the bride called and left numerous messages but she didn't return and calls or messages and eventually decided to turn-off her phone. After the wedding she emailed back and denied any fault. She said she didn't agree to the time and even though we presented a contract she said that she couldn't read it. If you can't read a contract, especially one you wrote; why agree to it? Luckily my wife looked amazing despite crying over the hair and makeup lady not showing up. We were refunded, but in reality we should sue. Definitely not reliable...unfortunately I can't review how good or bad she is at doing hair and makeup. After checking reviews of this company I saw that every review in the last 6 months is very low. I see why. Don't use this service. read more

I have been going to this salon for about three months now. In total I have worked with Christine, Kaya and Mariah. They are all super friendly and do a great job making you feel glamorous! If you are getting eyelash extensions, Kaya and Mariah have really different styles (both gorgeous) but I'd make sure to call to discuss what's more your style. Kaya has really good retention for her lashes and I have been impressed how long they stay on. Christine did a great job with my spray tan today! She made the experience easy. Ive gotten my hair cut here a couple of times and it was great! Christine did my hair the first time and she was wonderful! I don't do much in the way of hair care (literally just wash and brush) so she went over how I can take care of my hair better. Honestly, this is one of the best salons I've been to in town, Christine seemed like she genuinely wanted to help me get better with my hair up keep and took the time not only to explain how different products work but also showed me how to use them and the way they affect my hair as she was using them. You can tell she is incredibly knowledgeable about her profession. On top of the products she was telling me about, I also voiced how I felt about my some of my previous hair cuts I've gotten (it's very thick and a lot of the cuts I get in it look a little odd due to them being blunt cuts without texture) so she went over how she would cut it to make sure that didn't happen and also gave me some suggestions that I can try in the future. The second time I went, Kaylee cut my hair. She was super sweet and once again I didn't have the issue of an odd blunt cut afterwards. I got a lash lift and paid $78 and literally looked the exact same. They were not lifted at all and were completely straight the next day. I order a kit on Amazon for $25 and dyed them with beard dye after and they look professionally done. Don't waste your money and do it yourself. read more

I used to have my review up here but it disappeared. May of 2016 I went here to receive an ombré effect for my hair. Christine started to bleach my hair and shortly after it started to burn my scalp. She told me that it was a normal sensation. A little while after that my head felt like someone was putting a scalding hot cast iron skillet on it. I told her immediately and she said that wasn't normal (thank you captain obvious) and started washing the bleach out. Needless to say, my keratin in my hair was completely gone and she chopped my extremely long beautiful hair off. I was extremely upset because A) she ruined my long hair B) she was rude about it C) she proceeded to still charge me 100 dollars as a fee for screwing up my hair. Don't ever come here unless you want a new crappy hairstyle and to pay for it. Literally. It's 2019 and my hair is finally long and healthy again. It took about two years and expensive keratin treatments for my hair to finally recover. read more

Had to go back for my follow-up haircut because my last one here was absolute perfection! I needed that level of amazing again. Once again, was not disappointed. :) So excited about my hair and feel like a million bucks. Owner is an absolute genius and is methodical in ensuring each hair is precisely cut and the cut is satisfactory. Other places will leave stray hairs to mock you, out of place for the rest of your life in the current cut - or to force you to risk making it worse or having to return to get corrected, depending on the type of person you are: think everyone can relate to those places. Not here: she'll make sure there won't be any out of place pieces and that each angle is your hair's best one which is so great. I'm all about her skills yay! I wish purchased a protein mask which I don't normally do, but will be adding it to my dye tonight to complete my revitalized look. This is my to-to salon now & I can't understand why with her will & this adorable space has such a low rating because both experiences have been absolutely phenomenal & I recommend this place to anyone who cares about a detailed and precise cut. Had a wedding contract made one week with Christine for wedding services, two weeks later had to make cancelation outside of my control- WAY before date of service- she even told me that she will double book so that she can fit more people in. In her contract it should say that services aren't transferable. Well I NEVER planned anything with Christine, she just took my money when I explained my sad situation. I pleaded with her and asked if I could use any of that deposit down for more services. Would of spent more money with her if she would of just made things transferable. That being said, don't go with someone like her that can't have her credit that money to another service. Stay away, there's other places in town that do better work and if there are issues, they will have you come in and use some of that money on other services so that they are still doing business. This could have been the best hair cut of my life (which it wasn't) and free I'd still NEVER come back. If you want to be treated poorly and with a bad attitude this is the place for you! She might be surprised when you stop engaging in conversation after said rudeness ensues. Protip* don't tell her "you're not being very nice" because she will intentionally pull your hair.
