So heads up, this is a long review, but I promise it's worth the read! We bought our house a year…read moreand a half ago. The back yard had been designed as a "zero scape" yard. If you're not familiar with that term, it basically means that that the entire yard is filled with stones/gravel instead of grass. This is a very popular yard design in very hot and dry states such as Arizona, but we live in Florida, so I wanted grass! As if having a yard made of rocks wasn't bad enough, there were also multiple flower beds that had just deteriorated over time and looked terrible. Trying to keep these beds weed free was a full time job and I quickly got tired of trying to stay on top of it. By the time we decided to find a company to completely redo the whole yard it was a total MESS! The rock was all uneven, and the flower beds looked more like weed gardens, or maybe more like a small jungle. This was going to be a huge job. I found Landscaping by Justin on Facebook and called him out to do an estimate. He showed up fully prepared. He measured the back yard and discussed different options with us. Once we decided exactly what we wanted to do, he took down the information and told us he'd get back to us with an estimate. Within the next couple of days we received the estimate. I was quite impressed with how professional he was with getting our estimate put together. It didn't take us long to decide that this was who we wanted to give us a new beautiful yard. He showed up each day right on time, very punctual! Our back yard has zero shade and it was so hot everyday he was here. This did not stop him from working hard everyday to ensure the yard came out better than what we could've even imagined. He kept us updated each step of the way. I cannot speak highly enough about Justin's work ethic and professionalism. After three days of hard work, Justin presented us with a beautiful back yard that we can finally be proud of. It came out perfect! I'm so happy with the end result and thankful to Justin! I highly recommend Landscaping by Justin for any of your landscaping needs, from the smallest project to an entire yard renovation. I promise you won't regret putting your yard in his hands.

Being on the ocean, I never really pay attention to the street side of the house. But the other…read moreday I was pulling out to go get a newspaper and was actually embarrassed at how bad the yard looked. Palm branches laying on the roof, overgrown shrubs, weeds everywhere, debris still out there from the last hurricane / tropical storm... As I was thinking about this and pulling in to the 7/11 parking lot, I spotted a truck with a "Landscaping by Justin" sign on it. The truck looked well kept, and the gentleman getting out of the truck had clearly put in a hard day's work. I figured this is a sign if ever I saw one. I asked him for his card and called him a few days later. Justin stopped by the house that evening on his way home to see what I wanted done. He was there within a week and my house looks fabulous! I couldn't be more happy with the results of his efforts. He did exactly what he said he would do, and the house looks better than I thought it ever could. I will definitely use Justin again and I am happy to write this review.

Leafy Landscapes came out to give our front yard a facelift, and what an awesome job these…read moregentlemen did! They took care of removing large overgrown shrubs in front of our house with an excavator, Rob redesigned the yard using a video demonstration beforehand which looked outstanding, the crew laid new bordering, expanding the beds, replaced all soil and added weed-preventing landscape fabric and landscape rock, and added several palms, small shrubs, and several items of color that were mostly maintenance-free at our request. Some landscape companies will take what you request and twist them to convince you to use certain plants that turn more of a profit for them, but not Leafy Landscapes. They'll work with your request and do everything to make it happen, offering some expert guidance along the way, but not hard-selling toward something else. What I like most is that Rob and his crew are expert at landscape and landscape design and have been involved in horticulture for many years, so they know what works and doesn't work in a central Florida landscape. Tremendous job - We would highly recommend! ***** (ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 2018) - Excellent work by both gentlemen here doing major trimming of shrubs and palms. This company doesn't just send someone with just some expensive shears and a truck. Unlike those from other companies, they come armed with knowledge of horticulture and landscaping to where you can always trust the way they do their work and can trust their opinions on what to have done with the landscape to make it thrive. I hired these guys about two years ago and it's been a constant struggle to get them to do the job…read moreright, anywhere from breaking sprinkler heads that they didn't report or repair to killing most of my garden with "weed control". Chris manages the bussiness and only cares about charging for services that are done very poorly or not at all. I travel out of state and without fail always find an unpleasant surprise with my garden and lawn when I get back home, from big swaths of dead grass and plants due to broken sprinkler heads and not getting water to the most recent disaster where I asked them to do weed control,, and unfortunately, their technician sprayed all of my plants and killed most of them. Kiefer, Chris's assistant Inspected the property and acknowledge that they had screwed up and killed a lot of plants. He promised to replace them, but now two weeks later and nothing. I talked to Chris about this and his reply was "we'll schedule it when we have time and the plants are cheap enough to buy". I'm afraid I'll have to seek legal action against these people to get resolution. They simply don't care. Do yourself a favor and find a more responsible Landscape company to take care of your lawn and garden.

I had my HOA destroy my yard 5 years ago and need to have an outside company do my yard. I am very picky about my yard and the job has been so excellent, I can't even express it. I recommended them to another house in my HOA because the "HOA lawncare provider" just destroys the yards. The whole team makes our yards look great compared to others in the neighborhood. I love they will NOT mow when the ground is too wet and always listen to the customer. I am so elated and appreciative for this local small business!!!!!!!

Called spoke to Kip for an estimate on having our sidewalk repaired....the pavers had all…read moreseparated...he gave us a fair estimate and explained exactly what they were going to do and the next day they were here and what a beautiful job they did.....we are very pleased and I will keep his card for any future projects in the future...again thank you!

Bring in top soil to fill low area in yard and sod to cover new soil…read more Owner Kip came to see area and provided price for service. Price specified the amounts for soil and sod that were included. Felt price was reasonable and accepted. Amount of soil was good and they did do a good job with the fill in. However, sod was severely under-estimated by a pallet or two. They also didn't bring enough plywood to adequately cover and protect path to area to be filled from damage by small loading machine. Then, they wanted another $900 to finish the job by bringing in more sod plus (my request) another 2 yards of soil. As they underestimated the amount of sod needed, I would expect them to finish the job for just the cost of the additional material, but they wanted basically a complete separate job price instead. Bottom line: I don't think much of their business integrity.
