We did a thorough search on each of the massage places. This 5 stars rated massage came up on the list and showed dozens of reviewers. We didn't know if it's true, but why not give it a try. We had been to many massage places and we were speechless after this massage. The best 60 minutes massage we ever had by far. They really focused on us for full 60mins. They didn't apply dead force, but the massage was strong. The strength was accustomed to our preference. It's not high end fancy place, but super clean and calm with very soothing music. One of the very best there is and I have had a lot of deep work from many practitioners all over california. I requested for a 90 min massage and Ojai massage was the first one to respond right away. They set me up with an appointment within 5 minutes. My therapist was fantastic. My massage therapist came to our hotel and set up in our patio where I felt it was safe. She had her mask on the whole time, she sprayed down the table before she placed her clean sheets. She washed her hands before and after. Her energy was just amazing. She took the time to ask me about where she should focus on which I appreciate so much. She asked for what kind pressure to apply. I think what I really really loved about my experience is my therapist's kind, calm and extremely kind energy. She transferred that energy to me and it was fantastic. I feel light and not heavy. I needed a relaxing weekend to clear my mind, body, and spirit. So I selected Ojai, CA as a place that was rustic, yet, restorative. Being a massage therapist, I knew that while I was there, I needed to receive a really good massage for some shoulder issues as well as general clearing. Based on YELP's review, I scheduled an appointment with Aaron. Aaron was very easy to reach; he was professional and timely in arranging for our session. His location was a bit hard to find, but once inside his office, I felt very comfortable. His setting is very peaceful and filled with good light. So now, for the real review of his work. Aaron is amazing! He includes so much experience and expertise in his bodywork, it was hard for me, as a massage therapist, to resist asking for his diagnosis, treatment plan, and methods! But, I forced myself to let go and enjoy the therapy! He is such an guru, I'd love to be his apprentice. He released my physical shoulder blockage, as well as, other energy issues. His skills are superlative. However, this is just a part of Aaron's gifts. He is authentic, caring, light-in-spirit, and very intuitive. He is an interesting spirit, and is genuine in his service and interest in you as a client. He connects with you at many different levels and adapts as needed to your needs. I'm still thinking about the 90-minute "Structural Bodywork" massage I had with Aaron. He began by talking with me to assess my needs, and he ensured my comfort levels throughout. Aaron's technique is the perfect balance of firmness and gentleness and attention to areas of tightness I didn't even know I had. I had extremely tight shoulders and neck, and Ying gave me an amazing massage that was a mix of relaxation and deep tissue massage. The venue is simple, so don't expect a spa experience, but in terms of massage it's great value and quality.
