Absolutely Unprofessional - Do Not Recommend…read more My husband and I were at a bar top in a local restaurant when a woman beside me struck up a conversation telling me she's a personal trainer. At a later date I went for a consult, expecting a professional service. Instead I discovered a red flag parade and a betrayal at the deepest level. No chef certificate or professional culinary training. No hands-on weight training certification. Maybe a couple small pieces of equipment to be seen in her basement gym. She had some vague talk about an online course for her training. She wanted $10,000 for a 6 month "personalized" program, yet offered no substance of what that would be. She brushed off the cost by saying, "The women I deal with around here have lots of money, so it's not a thing for them." Seriously?!! But here's where things crossed the line completely. She extracted personal information -- which I answered in good faith -- and told her in tears that I'd just separated from my husband of 30+ years, and we were going to try to work it out. TWO WEEKS later, she messaged him on Facebook to ask him out! I now see this was never about helping woman as she claims. It's about helping herself through manipulation, opportunism, and money.
