I'm unsure if it's down to the food or the fact I saw cockroaches after I was about to take my first bite. I wouldn't normally go into a establishment like this, but after a long drive and the need of a toilet, I couldn't resist. Food was not appealing both sight or smell. They took forever to get my order prepared, even tho it was quiet. The toilets were manky, not to mention their aprons. Staff were dismissive and slow. One guy was rude and pushed me out of the way and snatched the money out of my hands. Not a please or thank you ever left their lips. Dirty floors and old food laying around. I'm glad I had saw the roaches before I decided to eat. On a closer inspection I discovered all ive listed above. On more research it appears the company only has a 2 star rating for food hygiene. The restaurant is owned by Freddie (surprise surprise) and he's always there to welcome you when you walk in, which gives it a really friendly feel.
