If you didn't know, OSU-Tulsa now offers 22 bachelor degrees that you can start and finish in Tulsa. Staff is so helpful and friendly. This is also located in a very historic spot of Tulsa. Walk the campus to find all the markers memorializing the Greenwood District.

The staff is super helpful and take the time to actually get to know you and understand what your path/needs look like. Some of the classes weren't offered at this campus so I had to go to Stillwater. I never got the chance to take the Big Orange Bus (BOB) but it's a great thing that's available for those that need to make the commute but don't want to drive. I hear it's very comfy and even has wi-fi so you can be productive while you're on it. I noticed a huge difference between the classes I took in Stillwater and those in Tulsa. Mostly that the experience is completely different, even in graduate school. At the Tulsa campus, most classmates are what we'd consider "non-traditional" students, who are full-time professionals, have family responsibilities, and might be taking classes part-time. I think that's why most professors don't assign "busy-work" but actual valuable learning opportunities. Furthermore, I enjoyed class discussions that connect real-life situations with the academic theory at hand. Loved my experience on this campus! Highly recommended.

I've taken classes here as an undergrad when I was back in Tulsa for the summer and post grad when I needed to fulfill missing prereqs for grad school. They also have a ton of class times (like at night and on the weekends!! - perfect for working adults). Even though there may be a stigma attached to "community colleges," I feel like I received a good education in all the classes I've taken. All of the professors I've had really seemed to care about the students. Even though this location is downtown, there's a private parking lot, so you won't have to worry about parking. There's also a gym at this location with a small indoor track, the usual weight machines, and cardio machines. There are also free fitness classes!

Honestly, TCC is a great place to start your college education or get some vocational training…read moredone. It's cheap, has a huge selection of classes, and has a handful of campuses to attend. I tend to skip around campuses to get into specific classes, but you can start and finish at any one campus. Each campus features a library with free internet access, as well as a tutoring center where you can receive free tutoring in math, english, or computer application. I might have missed some others features, but for the working adult especially, this place rocks. Night classes, fast track classes, weekend classes, you will find a suitable class at a suitable time, trust me! Also, I have to plug the Honors Program. I it so worth pursuing, as for 24 credits of honors classes you receive a $13,000 scholarship to Tulsa University, where you can complete your undergraduate studies. They are no more difficult than regular classes; they are just structured differently, giving the professor the freedom to teach in a different style. Some of the Honors classes I have attended have been great fun, and I have made some good friends because of the way the classes encourage student participation.
