It feels like you're at a Big Fat Greek wedding (without the getting married part). I got some of my favorite dishes like spanakopita, moussaka, stuffed grape leaves. Plus the star of the night..baklava!! So good. My friend got a gyro and said it was one of the best he had ever tasted. We were lucky to get some seats around the dance floor so we enjoyed listening to the traditional Greek music and watching the kids dance with with grandma and grandpa on the dance floor. The business had canopies all up and down the Main Street. Each canopy had friendly people handing out candy to the kids and telling the adults about their stores. There was live music, a fire truck, food trucks, and much much more. This event was fun and entertaining. The event was attend by so many families.

This fun 5k run/walk/job and 20 mile bike 'tour' (not race) was on a warm, mid Septmber, Saturday…read moremorning. It was definitely more fun then competitive. After completion, every participant got to enjoy live entertainment, great food (picnic style,burgers, chicken and veggie burgers, salads, chips, fruit, dessert, etc) and beverages after the event. Beverages included kegs of Killians, CBC, Amstel Light, etc. Most of the participants were Abercrombie employees and friends of, which really enhanced the experience. It was like one big team cheering each other on. It was truly a great event that I will be a part of each year forward. All funds raised through the Challenge support the Ohio State University Medical Center's Program for Health.

This is the dozenth time that I have been to this cute little church festival. Unfortunately - I…read morewill have to say that I was disappointed with this year's experience even more so than the last few; it has been going downhill the last couple of years. You have to buy all your food tickets upfront before you can even see what the food looks like and therein lies the hitch. At the other church festivals I have been to - you get to shop with your eyes and then you pay based on what you have chosen but this festival has you scan a QR code to read the menu in your phone or, if you do not have smart phone, there is a menu taped to the table that you can read by being in every one else's way which is super rude and annoying. So you hurry and guess and buy your tickets ahead of time and you have no idea what the food looks like and that was very disappointing. The portions were small, the meat was overcooked and people in general just did not look like they were having a lot of fun serving, watif ir even being there when I visited in the afternoon on Saturday. When visiting in previous years they let you see what the food looked like and then you could get tickets or you could pay after you had chosen in line. The reorganization this year was just really not working for me. I prefer to see what I'm ordering and indeed I end up often ordering much more than I intend because of the quality of how everything looks, the amazing smells and/ or the friendliness of the hosts. Sadly, this was not the case for this church festival this year. Making me pay ahead of time, keeping all the food covered and not letting anyone see it until you had already ordered it and having the food served look little like the representative photos makes me feel like you're hiding poor quality. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this festival after more than a dozen years of really enjoying this place. There are much better ones out there that deserve my time and attention and financial support. I wish them the best and hope that my experience was just random bad luck.

Sweetie and I took Baby K., and I have to say it was not good for the baby- too hot, and too loud in the food building where the band also was. But we had time to grab some food and skedaddle. It is a small festival, but there is a ton of good food, and music, a few vendors, etc. Very well organized, and everyone was friendly, from parking to the food counters. It's a ticket system, so buy some tickets near the entrance (they have a list of "prices," and $20/20 tickets was enough for two adults with soft drinks.) Everything is behind the church, and there are plenty of tables under a big tent, restrooms, etc. We tried "Serbian salata," pretty much the tomato/cuke/onion salad we often make. Also a cabbage roll- perfectly cooked and seasoned, with ground meat inside and a few chunks of spicy Serbian sausage on top. The cevapi were also amazing- ground meat inside hearty soft flatbread. I could eat several more of those. We finished with dessert- very good baklava, a slice of nut roll, and a jam-filled roll that was, I think, citrus and plum. All in all great food, friendly people, a nice setup, and reasonable prices. We will be back, on a cooler day with an older kid. It's the last Saturday in July every year.

Artisans in many of the buildings with old-time crafts for gifts. Cooking demonstrations, etc. Presentations at the church; we went to a church service, a talk by Santa about his origins and traditions, and some smooth jazz carols. Learned about how Christmas used to be celebrated (plus some alternatives involving radishes and horse skulls.) Baby K loved it. Learned the dreidel game, tried a roast chestnut, danced, sang, and more. Fun for kids and adults.

Not being familiar with any of the local wineries, this was a great way to introduce me to them and find out which ones I want to actually go visit. I LOVE wine... remember, you need several servings of fruit a day... grapes are a fruit... wine is made from grapes!!! Therefore, wine is good for you!!! As for the location at the North Market... what a great combination!! After tasting 20+ wines, one does need a bit of a snack to go with all those grapes... Can't wait to go again next year!! There was just now enough room between stands to stand, socialize, drink wine, and then move on. Had the event been held in the massive parking lot owned by the North Market, I easily would've given it 5 stars. Honestly the wine and merchants there were AWESOME but you just couldn't enjoy anything you were drinking unless you totally left the vendor areas between every single sample. Perks that totally made it worth going: 1) Great vendors-- I especially loved the Wisconsin hard cider booth. Bangin' sangria! And honestly you can never go wrong with Ohio wines! 2) There was a free photobooth sponsored by Crave 3) Entry came with a $5 coupon for the North Market...which basically gives you an excuse to get Jeni's ice cream. And any excuse to get Jeni's is a great excuse. All in all, yes if I was ever in Columbus the weekend of the wine fest, I'd go again. But the wine fest sponsored by Giant Eagle in Cleveland is much better.

It's only 30 minutes from Columbus so a doable drive. Admission is only $6 which includes parking. I go on the first night. Everything seems much cleaner the first day. The smells of all the fair vendors, sounds and sights are just fun to take in.

It's definitely different from your normal city parade as independently organized. You can tell there is a lot of political satire too. I recommend starting at Goodale park around 12 PM ish so you can get seating. Parade starts from Goodale and wraps around to the Short North area. My husband loved every moment of this parade and my child enjoyed it as well as she was just shaking her booty to all the music they were playing. I even brought the grandparents and they had a grand old time here even if it involved some politics. We will definitely be back next year for another joyous 4th of July Doo Dah Parade.

We parked at the garage north of the convention center, walked a couple blocks, and got to the end point just as the parade was arriving (about 1:45; it starts at Goodale Park at 1.) Went on for about 45 minutes. Goofy. Silly. Political. Lighthearted. Weird. Super fun. Some stuff K could understand, some she didn't get. I laughed and clapped a lot. A few people threw candy, so she got some (it's not like a standard parade in that way, not many throwing it.) Lots of places to go for refreshments immediately afterwards. Go. It's free entertainment. And some of the displays are very creative.
