I empathize with him and his story but I personally thought it was very inappropriate based on the current timing. It's not about relating it's about helping us get through an extremely rough time. At the end of it all he didn't even give his condolences even though he knew I was her son. Any other person could've done a better job and coming from a man who lost his own mother in his arms I would've expected at-least a little more empathy towards me and my stepfather.

"I guess we forgot how to count!" She is seemingly unfit for this profession. In addition, I was charged $125 for a wooden cross and thank you notes that I never asked, for nor do I want. I was also charged $125.00for gratuities. Again, I was never informed of this until I received a bill. In addition to the $300 fee for 'Dressing, casketing and cosmetology' I was charged $75 for a hairdresser. What a terrible way to take advantage of people at their weakest moments.

Facilities: Although we did not have a viewing at the funeral home, I would highly suggest that you consider Evergreen as one of your top choices when considering funeral pre-planning. Once you enter into the clean and modern facility, you will be in awe at the attention to detail that the facility has. There are no stairs and there is plenty of parking. A picture of Robert's late father adorns the foyer. Respect towards family is evident from the first moment you enter Evergreen. Shop around and you will see what I mean with the quality of the facilities. Staff: Robert and his staff are all highly professional in the manner in which they prepared our grandmother, all the way through the ceremony at the cemetery. Robert does the embalming for the facility, for which he did an excellent job. Communication: Every time we tried to meet with Robert to finalize the details of the funeral, he was readily available at OUR leisure. I think this is a very important trait as a funeral home, as we were out running errands in preparation for the burial and did not think to make appointments. Caretakers, Dave and Tony assured me they can fix my name just the way I want and the front office approved it, no problem. I feel at peace now knowing when I take my place next to my husband,Don, my mom and dad, I will be happy because it is exactly what I want on the crypt.It is huge relief to me. I got this right with the help of staff. I dont have a big enough thank you. Mostly, I want the world to know that the ones you love are in a safe and beautifully maintain cemetery.
