Stopped in with the family for a bite before heading back home to Rhode Island. We were nearby at IKEA and I saw this place on Apple Maps. I'm glad I found it, this place is a hidden gem! My wife got a steak tip Caesar wrap and she absolutely loved it! My son and I got pizza and it was delicious! The dough was light and airy and the sauce wasn't too sweet. I definitely recommend the chicken bacon ranch pizza on their specialty pizza menu definitely my go to and favorite pizza ... Also enjoyed the Steak n cheese subs. This WAS the best pizza now it's just plain bad. We tried to order an Everything pizza but the staff had no clue so ended up with a pepperoni and onion, small. Over done and cost more money. Family run establishment - this place is really well known for their Greek salad - and they should be - because it's amazing. You down with OCP? Yeah, you know me. I am a lifelong friend of the lovely family that runs Old Country Pizzeria. Veteran fans may remember the glory days of the original Pizza Palace in the center of Norwood (under new ownership for a decade now), but alas, that was in a past life, and their fine establishment now finds itself parked just out of my reach in Stoughton - not that that's stopped me. Despite our lengthy history (which may set off conflict-of-interest bells), I am fully comfortable putting my reputation and credibility as a Yelper on the line in endorsing this excellent establishment. I have eaten food prepared by their family hundreds of times in my lifetime, leaving me intimately aware of all the wholesome goodness they have to offer. My biggest gripe is that they don't serve more authentic Greek dishes, as they would certainly make a killing. Their baklava alone has become a legendary staple of a dessert for those that are familiar with its sweet, flaky perfection, and unlike their pastitsio or Easter lamb on a spit, can actually be purchased here. Don't miss it. Anyway, let's get to the grub. Anyone that's experienced the Greek pizza shop scene in the greater Boston area will be no stranger to their atmosphere, pricing, and menu offerings. However, OCP is a cut above the rest when it comes to quality and consistency. Their pizzas have a wonderful golden glow to them, and their crust is unobtrusive, with a high, thin profile, a nice initial crunch, and a soft interior. Oil slicks are nowhere to be found on these slices. Their subs are delicious in every variety, and consistency has not waned over the lifetime I've spent eating them. Their miscellaneous fryer items are also hot, crispy, and delicious, with their mozzarella sticks being a personal guilty favorite. ... See, that's all well and good, but you can forget everything I've said about pizza and subs, because you're going to be ordering a Greek salad. Their choice of feta is unique and mouth-watering, and they aren't shy with it either as they top a consistently fresh bed of lettuce, thinly sliced red onions, pepperoncini and friends. The jewel in the crown is the homemade creamy Greek dressing, which may indeed ruin you for other Greek dressings. Treat yourself to some grilled chicken atop that bad boy while you're at it, as theirs is consistently moist on the inside with a pleasantly mild char on the outside. The next time you source a salad from elsewhere, whose mis-cut lettuce, flavorless feta, and Ken's Greek dressing makes you want to cry, you SHOULD cry, because you missed out on Greek salad nirvana from the OCP corral. I cannot vouch for their delivery, as I live well outside their delivery range, but their interior is simple, clean, and welcoming, with ample parking immediately outside. My mother works in the area and never fails to mention the popularity of OCP with her coworkers for lunchtime delivery. This may all sound like hyperbole - after all, it's a pizza shop, not the French Laundry - but after suffering a lengthy string of disappointments at the hands of average, apathetic, truly uninspiring pizza joints all across Massachusetts (as I'm sure you all have), I can appreciate a diamond in the rough when I see it. If you're looking for a quick, no-hassle bite to eat for lunch or dinner and pizza shops are on the brain, definitely consider giving OCP a shot. I'm writing this review for my boys Pierre and Sad, the brothers and owners of Old Country Pizzeria, better known to my group of friends as OCP. Started going here for Greek salads, chicken Caesar salads, and the buffalo finger platter back in 1999 or 2000. I was in my last few years of high school and would go in for a quick bite or takeout at least once, usually twice a week. Pierre and Sad still ask about me when my parents or friends pick up food there, and I make sure to swing by whenever I'm back in Stoughton for a day. This place is packed during weekday lunchtime, with lots of local teachers, police officers, etc filing in, making conversation, and picking up various items from the large menu. Thick crust pizzas, steak tips with rice, hot and cold subs, toasted ravioli, and huge salads are just some of your options. My favorites here: Buffalo Chicken Finger Platter (with fries and a mini-salad) Chicken Parmesan Sub Chef's Salad Greek Salad These guys work their asses off and have really taken over in Stoughton as the best all-in-one pizza/salad/sub shop. I use to love this place, was my number 1 place to go and get food. Food is great but customer service i just received from the owner (guy). You own a place of business you dont yell at a customer with a child who is placing an order. That is very unprofessional! If you have an issue you talk an a calming way. You dont yell to try and get your point across. Yes my child was talking loud but he wasn't disturbing anyone, since you had no customers in your store. If i wasnt in middle of paying for my food i would have walked out and never looked back. Took my business to Stoughton pizza. Their house greek dressing is the BEST GREEK DRESSING I HAVE EVER HAD. I am not really a fan of the pizza because it is not doughy enough. Definitely a fan of their salads. They also have great baklava which they make themselves. The place was renovated a couple years ago so it is a lot bigger and nicer. Great subs also. Their buffalo chicken sub is my favorite.
