One evening Taco Brothers' truck was here and we decided to bike over to half picnic, half dine-out. We packed our own chips and drinks but grabbed a burrito and a tortas for dinner. We were splitting them so that we could each try both but didn't ask for it to be cut in half. Luckily they wrapped and sliced each of them before boxing it up which was very convenient, especially eating on the go. The burrito was huge and packed full but it was all well balanced and distributed so each bite was a good mix of the ingredients! The tortas with steak and cheese was definitely our favorite thing. The bread tasted freshly baked and was the perfect mix of soft and crunchy. The sandwich had carne asada, oaxaca cheese, refried beans, avocado, jalapeno, tomato, onion and possibly more. At first it sounded like a lot, and the portion is certainly plentiful, but just like the burrito it was overall a perfect ratio of ingredients and every bite was equally good. We had glanced at their menu on their webpage and it was displayed large on the truck, but many edits had been made with things covered up or marked over so I'm not sure if it changes frequently or has been recently updated and just not replaced all around. After we ordered the tortas and burrito the gentleman told us that we got a free drink (canned soda or bottled water from a serve yourself cooler) but we're not sure which of the items it came with or what made us eligible for it - we just accepted and thanked him :)
