Mittlerweile hat sich das Down Under als die Musik Kneipe und die Burger Kneipe / das Burger Restaurant in Saarbrücken entwickelt. Wer nach guter Live Musik oder einem guten Burger sucht, kommt am Down Under nicht mehr vorbei! In gemütlicher Atmosphäre können hier original australische Biere genossen werden, wie auch irische Biere wie Guinness und Kilkenny. Zu hungern braucht auch niemand im Down Under. The pub was nearly empty when we arrived at 1830. By the time we left at 1930 it was standing room only. The drinks were inexpensive and they've got a good selection of mixed countries' beers on tap along with some bottled drinks. This was the first time I've seen the pub (or I would have stopped in previously) but won't be the last time I visit! The bartender was quick, spoke perfect English and was very honest (I had mistakenly tried to pay him twice...).
