I really dislike Loop solely because of its owner. This guy will literally break his back lying…read morejust to sell you and your family junk. 1) He boasts to carry exclusive merchandise, when really you could buy the exact same goods at the mall or at other stores locally for a lower price. His classic rebuttal is that his goods are better quality...(again exact same goods) 2) If goods are slow moving or unpopular, he will tell you the opposite and will even go as far as to say they're limited editions...(I once heard him (Al) tell a mother that she was buying a pair of nike sb "pigeon", one of the rarest shoes in the sneaker game for her son. In fact, it was hurting him to sell it to her because they were so sough after. Loop has never sold Nike sb and this consumer would never have known that) 3) Always tells customers to support local but I don't think I've ever heard anything good about him from local store owners. I am also pretty sure that when he means "support local", he's only talking about himself and has never set foot in a local coffee shop or store. 4)The most laughable is the over-hype he puts on his sneakers, constantly telling consumers these are going to sell out FAST. You can drop in a week later and he'll probably still have your size. (my sample testing maybe small, sure but my roommate has done this 6 times and they've always had stock) I have no problem with small business charging high prices because its tough being a small business, and these small businesses compensate with great customer service/care. I have a big problem with charging high prices for cheap goods and bad customer care. I would like to tell consumers to really do their research, whether it be on selvedge denim or Air Jordan sneakers. This won't just help you make an educated decision but you will single handedly witness the lies Al throws at you constantly. P.S ask him why he doesn't carry brands like APC or Nudie jeans. It's a chuckle show and so you know, the real answer is on the web.

Didn't even buy anything after witnessing the owner belittle a customer (20 year old STUDENT, at…read morethat) for expressing how difficult it is to be addicted to buying nice clothing. The owner responded with "dude chill out, it's a couple pairs of sweatpants" Yes it was a couple pairs of sweatpants..Yes the bill was $450 for 3 pairs, so YES, it was an expensive trip for a STUDENT. The store definitely carries some interesting and niche brands under the same roof, but for the attitude and lack of appreciation from the owner I'd rather visit 2-3 stores and get the same products. (Albeit more than likely cheaper..Markup??) (The "EXCLUSIVE HYPE OMG BUY NOW OR NEVER FIND IT AGAIN" sales tactic also only works when the statement is true. Pushing old product, or stubborn products to sell using this tactic is not only unprofessional, but dishonest. The other employees DO NOT encompass the same morals and poor attitude as the owner, and were friendly, helpful and mindful of students and general customers alike. Overall, good store and *some* interesting finds under one roof, but I'd pay more to know I'm not supporting the industry in the wrong direction by filling this ungracious owners deep and thankless pockets.

So far I have only dealt with them online, but the service I received from Jonathan was absolutely amazing. I was having trouble deciding between several items, but Jonathan asked me a few questions and was able to help me decide. When the stuff arrived, he was totally right. I am so happy to have received his advice. From now on, I only want to shop at Lost and Found. Thank you so much, I can't wait to place my next order. Update: I was in Toronto for a wedding and had some time to go visit them in person. They are in a great location, the store is well organized, and the staff is friendly and passionate about fashion. I had a great conversation about the brands they stock and why they choose them, which only further reinforced my opinion that this is the best men's store in Canada. But the best part was this: I bought a sweater (among other things) and was about to pay for it when I noticed a thread coming loose. To my amazement, their team was able to repair the garment while I waited. Not only do they stock the best clothing, they also provide excellent support. The sweater has been great ever since and survived several trips through the wash. Thanks for the perfect repair job! Next time please teach me how to do that :)
