Well it still exists…read more Much to my sadness, it's less about tiny overalls and more about patterned outfits these days, but the brand itself is still kicking (its tiny, cotton covered feet). This Stockyards location seems small at first, but is actually jam-packed with cotton goodness for your baby or child. There's something kind of creepy to me about fashion clothes for children... but I was happy to stock up on cotton footed onesies and one pair of baby jean-like-things. Babies win hard when it comes to comfort. I have mixed feelings about The Stockyards outdoor mall. For whatever reason, my main squeeze is far more willing to come here than Ikea or a regular mall. Maybe he's secretly nostalgic for his childhood in the suburban midwest? Maybe he likes how this massive structure prohibits wandering into unnecessary stores? Whatever it is, I'll take it.

It's weird and I can't say that I like it. It is very hard to find specific stores if you are not already familiar with the layout. I felt like I needed to do some reconnaissance prior to going to the mall. The mall has a Nations Experience (aka Nations Fresh Foods) there which is fairly large with an arcade and huge kids play area complete with ball pit and huge slides. It's a big international grocery store with a pretty awesome food court. The mall also has a Winners, Homesense, Bouclair, Pier 1, Michaels, Linen Chest, Dollarama, Ardene, Tip Top, Banana Republic Factory Store, Old Navy, The Shoe Company, and a few other stores. They have quite a few dining options too like for fast food they have Five Guys, Thai Express, Chipotle, Freshii, and a few more, and for sit-down restaurants they have Sunset Grill and a Shoeless Joe's, and maybe a couple more places. They do have a Chatime if you're craving a bubble tea. I could see this layout being a huge pain in the winter or when it's raining.

My favourite brand that they carry is 7 Downie Street, who make very nice, colourful shirts and jackets. You can find some more traditional items here too: blazers, suits, ties, sweaters, pants, etc. However, you won't find any shoes or traditional English overcoats like you might at Rego, Harry Rosen, Indochino or Proper Cloth. Also, just be VERY sure about what you buy. This is the only reason I won't give a five star rating. For understandable reasons for a small business, they're reluctant to give refunds if you purchase something and change your mind later. They're happy to give you store credit for most returns, but they probably won't refund you if you change your mind. Ignore the return policy at the end of your receipt, treat anything you buy here as a final sale, and you won't be disappointed. Everything they carry is high quality and they only sell new, never-before-worn clothes.
