It was a small shop with dishes that were already made, minus the spring rolls that is fried fresh when ordering and clearly the popular item here. The staff was super friendly in terms of helping with the menu since there wasn't one in English or Chinese. Love love loved seeing all of the locals come and have a relationship with the owner here. We ordered a beef and shrimp dish paired with 4 spring rolls that really hit the spot for us being that we missed Asian food so much. It helps that staff is super friendly and changing their menu with daily specials to offer something new. The storefront is closed on the weekends and fairly early, being a lunch spot for locals and workers. You'll see a diverse crowd here, but it seems to be a favorite for many. It is a true trust system when you check out and pay as they ask you what you have ordered, including drinks.

A TRULY authentic sushi restaurant- not one that is just popularizing on the recent sushi fad in Paris. Chose this place due to mostly positive review but apart from the proximity to my place this is not a quality Japanese restaurant. From my experience, Japanese restaurants ran by the japs or the Koreans are the best in terms if quality of food and service. I grew up in Asia and travelled a lot for work so I had the pleasure of dining at fancy places on the company tab. Based on all of this, this place is NOT run by Koreans or Japanese. This place is cheap. The take out sushi place around the corner, pre-made packaged ones are more expensive than this place - there IS a reason for this! The quality of sushi here is sub par. I ordered the salmon and tuna chirashi and the salmon was mostly white than orange and the tuna was more white-ish red then red. Hope you know what this means! The white lines in salmon is generally of low quality or scrap part of salmon and the tuna wasn't fresh! The fish pieces were super thin. Chirashi plates are for fat kids like me who wants more rice and fatter fishi than nigiri. Well these were neither. The ONLY good thing about the dish was the rice - well seasoned. If you are eating sushi for 13 euros and are scared that you might have food poisoning after, it's only fair that you get a failing grade on yelp. Sorry but not sorry and not going back! The servers hands were also so dirty. I almost didn't want to share that but please just wait for Rice and Sushi to open, don't settle and go here!
