I walked into Dr Dan's office without ever visiting a chiropractor before. He is an outstanding, professional, and knowledgeable guy. His office is inviting and updated. I went to see Dr. Barousse at Old School Chiropractic in downtown Canal Winchester yesterday and for the first time in months I was able to go to sleep without taking anti inflammatory meds or muscle relaxers to ease my joint pain and stiffness. Will definitely be back!! read more

Specialties

Old School Chiropractic is a cash practice that is very affordable to all patients. We have kept our price lower than most copays. The first visit costs $50 with subsequent visits also only $50. For those patients that want to use their insurance we can provide a receipt to you for insurance reimbursement. College students and younger only pay $35 per visit. Besides traditional chiropractic care and physical therapy (including roller bed, electrostim, vibe plate, and foot massage), Shockwave aka Stemwave is available for both acute and chronic conditions as regenerative medicine.

Meet the Business Owner: Dr. J.

Dr. John A. Shalvey, D.C. has been practicing since 2017. He was born in Wheeling, WV and spent his childhood in Wheeling, WV where he attended grade school and first 3 years of high school. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics at Brown University in Providence, RI. He received his Chiropractic Doctorate from Life University of Marietta, GA. Dr. John is very well versed with exercise and nutrition to compliment his excellent adjusing skills. Dr. John uses a variety of different Chiropractic Techniques. For example he is qualified to perform Diversified, Activator, and Thomson Drop techniques. He believes that spinal, as well as extremity adjustments, can help with all types of ailments. Dr. John believes in adjusting people of all ages, from the cradle to the grave.
