I called the store back and again was assured by a staff member that they were made from real psychoactive mushrooms. After looking into it further (including confirming Oregon law), I learned that real psilocybin mushrooms cannot legally be sold retail in Oregon, and the product label itself does not list psilocybin or any mushroom species. I returned to the store and requested a refund, explaining that I purchased the product based on incorrect information. The refund was refused. I also reached out to management and never received a response. This product was $35. I'm disappointed, not because of the product itself, but because it was sold to me under inaccurate information and the store would not make it right.

Emmett Floral was willing to work with me on a delivery date and was very flexible in changes in schedule I requested. Unfortunately, I had to follow up with the business and the recipient two weeks after the fact when I didn't get any kind of confirmation. The flowers never got there -- there was a change in ownership, and my contact information got lost in the shuffle. Turns out they had attempted delivery on the day I asked, but the recipient wasn't home. They had the correct phone number for her in their system, but she never got the voicemails for some reason. I told the new owner I was expecting them to leave the bouquet at the door, but she said she wouldn't do that because it was far too cold. (I've only ever ordered from 1800-Flowers, so it was very much an "a-ha!" moment for me when I realized that NOT leaving $100 flowers on a stoop in 10° weather is absolutely the correct thing to do.) So Emmett Floral was actually waiting for me to contact them so they could make it right. I was offered a refund or another delivery attempt -- the latter of which I accepted because I'd like to support small businesses whenever I can. The new owner was very empathetic and friendly, and everything went much more smoothly the second time, at no extra charge to me. The recipient LOVED her bouquet, and while I had no specific requests for the types of flowers used, I liked how unique it looked. Opportunities for me to order through Emmett Floral again are unlikely, but I highly recommend them due to their upstanding professionalism when my order turned out to be more chaotic than anticipated.

I found out the walker I have is older and they don't make the wheel size I need anymore. So we came up with a different plan for wheels - and it worked. The charge for the wheels was near as much as I was going to have to pay in other places. The gentleman was easy to talk to and work with. It was a great experience. It's a small shop but there is no "junk" laying around. You don't have to sift through the old dirty tools to find the decent ones because everything they have is in good condition and displayed nicely. The firearms are clearly labeled and priced well. They have a big selection of jewelry with a lot of unique pieces and it seems to all be very reasonably priced. Plenty of other items too like instruments, hunting items, and collectibles. The best part of this place is the service. Andrew was extremely patient and personable while helping me pick out some jewelry. Jeff was just as nice and they both were very friendly. They aren't there to talk you in to something you don't need or want, they really just want everyone to have a good experience. I definitely recommend stopping in, you never know what you might find!
