He immediately said thank you for stopping in which is my most favorite wow statement that should be made to any customer in my opinion. I told him what I was looking for and then we had a twenty minute conversation about vaping and that has never happened to me before. Most shops will tell you to come back and hang out and that makes me feel not as welcome. The shop has a great policy of not having a store juice and I live that and they also have organic juices. Big smile on my face! I left with what I came for and wasn't pressured to buy anything else. He shook my hand and introduced me to his staff and that made me feel as if I was part of the team. I did come back in today and spoke with the manager. She apologized and explained how that employee was in fact fired only a week after being hired. I do appreciate that Julie reached out in an attempt to make things right and I do plan to return. I do agree with another persons review that some of the employees aren't so called "experts" in vaping but other than that one kid that is now fired the employees I've interacted with do care and try their best to help. When I first saw this place I thought it was a vape and coffee shop which was pumped for but for now it's just vape. A female employee who was nearby then made an inappropriate comment, saying she wouldn't tell any white men because he might try to get him deported. I found this comment to be extremely rude and unacceptable. I told her that and explained I would report her to her manager. She responded that her manager was present and that she didn't seem to have a problem with her comment, which I found particularly concerning. Tobacco Connection needs to invest more in employee training to ensure their staff provides respectful customer service instead of making racist remarks in condoning illegal immigration.
