I went for the thanksgiving dinner and honestly it felt borderline like a scam. Tickets were 50 quid and didn't include anything besides food, a glass of mulled cider, and 2/3 pint. The cider was fine at best and also 4 quid, and same with the pint - maybe worth 6 quid at most? Which means that 40 quid is left over for food:
Was it worth it? Absolutely, resoundingly no. The food was actually decent, but wasn't replenished nearly enough. The event started at 5 and I got there at 6:45; mostly everything was picked over and the gravy was scraped clean all the way to the bottom. Eventually they came through with refills and I got to try the food, however the menu was smaller than advertised. For example, they had no dessert.
The atmosphere was horrific. Barely anywhere to sit, exposed to the outdoors so super cold, loud, etc.
I feel like I got completely ripped off to be frank. Would not return. read more
