This location is older than the Bonita store, but I prefer it because it has more character. A huge warehouse full of arts and crafts, fake flowers, awesome holiday decorations and household items. Come here with some dough $$ because it's easy to fill that cart up. I like this store over Michael's, Jo Ann or HobbyLobby any day. read more

Someone told me about this place and thought I would check it out. I was not looking for anything, just simply seeing what the store was. They have large mirrors, art work, patio furniture and cushions, household items like bedding, table cloths, and glassware. They also have a huge selection of holiday decorations. Prices were just like any other store like Target. Nothing is on sale unless it's out of season. Like Halloween decorations after the holiday has past. There are no employees on the floor to assist customers. Only 1 cashier at the registers. Nothing too appealing with this store. read more

Look at the expansive warehouse full of tempting items that if not careful could stretch my wallet. I will say-- it's obvious there are supply chain issues and that is apparent here. Holy Halloween items! We went in together as a family tonight to kill some time and were blown away by the array of Halloween decor. Still a leading location to stock up on essential yet usually expensive items for kitchen, cookware, and other staple items. Large assortment of floral arrangements and foliage. Pillows are well priced. The themes and color schemes can be hit or miss. Bath items such as towels sell at around $9.99 for a plush towel. That's even more competitive than Costco. Assortment of chairs for the living room/dining room that must be seen. The selection is not exactly expansive but if they have your color palette you could stand to save major bucks. This store rocks for killing time and stocking up on those annoying items you need but don't want to break the bank ok. read more

My best friend took me here to buy gnomes for her garden -- she described the store as "the Florida version of Pier 1 Imports." With that being said, I would describe Old Time Pottery as discounted housewares in a warehouse-like setting. You can find some really great deals here (hello, clearance section!) and they have a huge selection of moderately-priced Halloween decorations. Between the really neat wall decorations (This past visit proves summer is around the corner - Sandal decor is everywhere!), "vintage" posters (both "distressed metal" and low gloss color), it's a new apartment buyer's easy find. T he back left corner of the store is rugs and carpets, but you really have to dig to find the size you need, as the label "isn't true to size". Much like the clothes buyers at Grace Bros - "It rides up with wear". It must have taken a full hour to find a 5 foot by 7 foot rug for under the couch, as some were just a hair under, while others stated they were 6x7, the 5 footers were a hair over! Price ranges as much as the length and width. Only issue in this shopping spree: When I stopped in, it was going on the fourth month of the new year, and the back half of the store is littered with Christmas swag. All over the shelves and and the floor, gifts and trinkets were marked down. Why was there so much winter festivus stuff still there and "on sale"? Because the signs on the racks said "All Christmas items are 50% off". In the end of March!!! There's a reason the store was full to the brim with leftovers. At half price, no one is thinking about buying snowmen and Santas a week before Easter and expect to pay less than 70 per cent off. Hell, if anything was more than 60, that would have been awesome and there'd be nothing there. Will I go back otherwise? I always tend to stop in when roaming the stores for ideas and price differences, so Old Time Pottery tends to be a stop on the list of things to do in the area. read more

Great store to browse as they have lots of varied items to explore. From furniture, rugs, cookware, artwork and more! And prices were reasonable on most things I perused. Very similar to home goods but larger with more inventory. I picked up an area rug that was good quality for $47, which I thought was a great price. Only issue I had was asking employee if they had my rug of choice rolled up instead of under a mountain of heavy rugs. He offered no help, just shrugged shoulders and said nope. But I searched and finally found one that was accessible. Then saw a sign saying ask for assistance with rugs which was a joke! But I am happy with my purchase and would come back for more. read more

Wow. A huge "warehouse" filled with household items. Inventory constantly rotates. Good place to keep coming back to if you're looking for something specific for your house or decoration. Plenty of open stock dishes and glassware, pictures and mirrors, wrapping paper and gift items, and everything in between. Prices are decent but I've seen items in there that I had also recently seen at HomeGoods for less price, so make sure you've done your homework. Good sized parking lot. The lines inside for checkout are always long. Recommend not coming in the middle of the day on a weekend. read more

This is an enormous space filled with decor objects, furniture (including generally smaller chests, tables, chairs, accent pieces and even kitty condos; they just got in a large shipment of papsan chairs, but the price is not that spectacular), rugs, household goods, ceramics both for feeding people and for displaying plants, a full restaurant-supply section with restaurant duraframe chairs and all the flatware/chafing dishes/servers/china you might need, even the little slate "Specials" signs with a fat chef holding them up (!), and some soft goods as well (kitchen, bedroom, bath, and a few clothes and bags, in different locations in the store, even some bolt ends of cloth near the rugs in the back left corner), plus a seasonal decorating section (halfway back on the right-hand side). It's cheap, usually, but sometimes not, so you have to already have an idea of what various things are worth before you head here. I felt I had to review this place because we are buying a house in Fort Myers and three people have already directed me here for my upcoming decorating needs! Four if you count the fact that a local restaurant has an outdoor potted-plant garden and happened to leave the "Old Time Pottery" price tags on some of their large ceramic planters... They have large ornate mirrors, for example, that a friend got for about $10 each to suitably furnish her ginormous-walled rented golf course house with the 20-foot ceilings. Can't beat that with a stick. The house we are buying was renovated/decorated by a professional designer, and one of the first things I encountered when I entered Old Time's aircraft-hangar-like ambience was a decor wall plaque that I had admired in her house! It was about $5 on clearance. Looked great on her wall. So, for stuff like that, if you have a good eye and know the prices of things, definitely try here first. A final plus for me personally: there's a Starbucks right in the corner of the parking lot :-) read more

This place is a mess. Products are literally falling off shelves and there are many things put in the wrong place. Top that with the high prices, most of the products are from China, it's low quality. Small tables are $70-100! Rediculous! I can get better quality furniture at a furniture store. I just spent 40 minutes of my life at Old Time Pottery that I'll never get back. I was shopping for just the right autumn items for a shelf. I was pleased with my selections and felt good - until I got to the checkout. After ringing up all 11 of my items for a grand total of over $71, and me paying for the transaction, the cashier informed me that they had no bags. That's right NO BAGS. NONE. NADA. A store without bags. She then helpfully said she'd bag my items in a trash bag. But when she started to put the items into the trash bag, the side split. She then said I could buy one of their Halloween shopping bags for 75 cents if I wanted a bag. Not gonna happen - so I suggested that she give me the 75 cent bag. She was perplexed - I knew she wanted to give me the bag, but couldn't. So she had the manager called. When he came barreling up, he was totally defensive and said that the bags they ordered wouldn't be in until Friday and there was nothing he could do. I told him he could give me the 75 cent bag, but he refused. So I told him to cancel my transaction. I'd already put the one ripped trash bag of items into my cart - so I lifted it out. As I tried to put it back on the counter, it ripped in my hand and several items cascaded out onto the counter. The manager then chastised me for slamming the bag. I'm guessing Old Time Pottery will be the next storefront to go belly up. And after my experience today, I won't be sorry to see them go. read more

this review is for the bonita springs store .......... store items are awesome. i have done alot of shopping there, as i am a year round 38 year resident............. my complaint is that there are several employees that are out right "rude" ......... i could name them but i won't at this point and i hope that someone in management addresss this. part of their job is customer service when ask about an item in the store and in my hand at that moment they quick to give attitude .......... i'm always polite and use manners that i was raised with. when someone says thank you they should hear your welcome ............. there have been many different incidents and i hope it changes ............ read more

I loved it! Went there today and found 2 area rugs to match at really good prices too! Also found a smaller rug to match to put by the front door. Got all 3 and the pads to keep from sliding to go under for what I would have paid in Port Charlotte or Punta Gorda. Will definitely go back!! read more
