We are just finishing up our room and we will accessorize at this place. I loved the old vintage license plates, the cool furniture and there is so much to offer. This place is behind the KFC on 41 and crystal drive. The building is Maroon and yellow and it is shared with a chiropractor office but you'd never know it as the store has so much room and fine items. Also, you can take painting classes here. Looks like a great place and has real promise. Let's patronize this store and keep them in business. We need more of these local only stores. Hope you agree. Let me know what you think! I told the lady owner I understood…read moreI probably had purchase the entire set, but then she offered to keep it and not even offer to give me a slight discount. So I'm sure she'll resell it. But what really got me was her man employee that had to get the thing out of the store. It's like someone just ran over his cat and then backed back over it again in front of him. He was grouchy and uncomfortable to work with as I had to help him get it taken apart and then out the door. Not a thank you for helping him or nothing. So not only did I pay full price, I didn't get the whole hutch AND I had to do manual labor, but the worst thing of all was his demeanor. Put a freaking smile on your face dude. Or get out of the customer service business, you belong at the DMV honestly.

I love that it's all under a roof. Some shops even have AC. You'll find the junkiest junk and the nicest of the nice! The shop keepers seem to stand by their posted prices. My experience was there's not a lot of negotiation room. If you pay with cash, they usually skip the tax but that's about it. Now having said this, I was buying from the 'nicest of the nice', brand new purses, clothes and accessories. Parking is free and abundant. Expect large pot holes in the parking lot. IMPORTANT ADVICE: pay attention to where you came in! It is easy to lose your way and you will spend a frustratingly long time trying to find your car if you don't make mental note of your arrival 'gate'. There's colored lines on the ground. If there's a shop you particularly like, ask for their business card...it'll have their 'address' on it which shows the color of their row and the shop number. MY PERSONAL FAVORITE: ladies, if you like boutique style clothes, look for Designs by Darlene. Red row. Her clothes are off the charts!!! Unique. Well priced. And she has changing rooms. Highly recommend!

What an experience…read more.. I'm a self-proclaimed thrifting fanatic, and I grew up loving to go to flea markets and priced-per-pound places with my grandma. Maybe it was the heat, but this fleamarket just wasn't hitting when I visited. SETUP: You can really get your steps in here! Park and remember where you parked, then head in. Tons of shops to explore - like miles of it - and it's all covered. It's open air so no AC, but many shops have fans and some have AC running. They have each lane color coded on the floor, so you can remember you started in the red lane, then went to blue, etc. We still got lost haha. FOOD/DRINK: There are restaurants and bars here! Very fun to get a beer to drink while you walk. Most of the food was food truck style - pretty greasy and hot, which didn't appeal to us. SHOPS: This was the disappointing part for me. Maybe it's just not my style, but I was bummed to see it was mostly cheap bulk items and poorly made stuff at that. The t-shirt shops were selling cheap, misprinted Fort Myers stuff - but the prices weren't that crazy good? And they didn't have true tourist stores with souvenirs more than just t-shirts. Some of the shoe stores had some decent deals, a few record store scores, and I LOVED the few well-curated vintage shops inside. But otherwise, it was a lot of stuff I happily passed on. Some of the vendors were a bit pushy (the spa/skincare ones) but otherwise most left us be to browse. Even as a fan of thrifting, I found this to be overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time and likely won't be back.

They are only open Thursday's through Sunday so we lucked out. They have only been open in this location for a short while. They do a lot of estate sales and work with realtors and decorators, so they have some amazing one of a kind vintage items. The place is large inside (but tastefully arranges) so you'll want to take your time browsing. And there's even an outdoor area with trellises and patio related stuff. Around every corner is another treasure. But it's so nice to find very reasonable prices that anyone could afford to shop here. The co-owners were very personable and nice enough to patiently answer all our questions. Some of the large dramatic pieces (there's a huge elephant picture for example; furniture) each has a story to go along with them. And the gals are happy to tell you the background. As we were traveling in the area, we were looking at their smaller intriguing items -- teapots, candelabras, pillows, jewelry, small figurines, accessories, etc. etc. If you are a collector, you'll probably find something here you can't pass up to add to your collection. My only disappointment was that e didn't have more time to shop. We had places to go... But next time we are in the area, we will plan to really take our time.

Even if you're strapped for time, you'll most likely find something you love. As a petite lady, it's pretty difficult to find vintage clothing that fits right, but I found the most magical dress that not only has a beautiful print but fits perfectly. I was ecstatic to find a dress I didn't need to hem! While it was amazing to strike gold on my first visit, I'll never forget James kindness. He immediately introduced himself and offered help as soon as I walked in. He is extremely friendly and attentive. I felt so valued as a customer. I'll definitely be coming back soon, and I'll make sure to leave enough time to look at all the unique pieces.

James knows his stock well and when I asked about hats from a specific era we zipped around the store so I could see examples. Even better was that he talked to me about how to take more modern items and make them vintage inspired for a more affordable option. I came away with a gorgeous 1940s hat that will be wearable with more than one dress that I have and hair do ideas. I also came away with a gorgeous necklace and earrings set from the 1920s to pull together the one vintage 1920s dress that I own. Once James found out I live in VA he was quick to recommend a vintage store in the Northern Virginia area. How extremely generous and in indication of what a great human being! Next time I am visiting, I will drive up and budget enough time to explore the treasures in this shop and not be rushed. Thank you James for starting me on my true vintage journey wisely. He awarded two stars for ridiculously unfair reasons-- for not being open when she was busy moving into this location (& had posted her hours online) & because "Scan Design" (that doesn't sell antiques!) can beat her prices. I found Joy to be friendly, professional, & knowledgeable. The shoppe hours are posted for all to see on Yelp, Google, Facebook, etc. They are Tuesday thru Saturday from 10:30 AM to 4 PM. Do not hesitate to stop in to see her showroom. It's simply BEAUTIFUL. I can back that claim w/ photos!
