I went to 6 other tattoo studios with Old Towne being number 7 in a 2 day span for a watercolor mermaid tattoo. I got answers from I can do it for 1500, we don't do color tats at this place only black and white Japanese style, we don't enough staff working at 2 places, I can do it but there isn't enough area to work with which is crazy. I almost gave up but when me and my mom went into Old Towne tattoo it just felt like I had found the right place. Not only was they super nice they never made me feel like it was impossible what I was asking for. They even had a perfect artist in mind and even though he had left to go to lunch and let his dog out he came right back to see me. Ryan went over my design and helped enhance it to look better than I could have imagined. He was super nice and gentle the whole time. Never once did I ever feel uncomfortable. When he was done he went over all aftercare even though i have multiple other tattoos. The studio was clean and welcoming. The staff was very friendly. They have a customer for life!! Really really great experience at this tattoo shop! Came in with a group of 6 girls all wanting the same design but in different places/sizes. Daaron immediately came and talked to us about what we wanted. He's definitely the nicest artist I've ever gotten a tattoo from. He was so helpful in talking about design and placement. He was really friendly during each tattoo and made the process as calm and chill as possible! 4 people in our group had never gotten a tattoo, and they were so accommodating. I live out of town but would definitely come here again if I'm around. Dom also helped with the tattoos and was just as nice and friendly. I had a tattoo done by Kate DeCosmo, who is an incredible artist! She was so kind and made me feel very comfortable during our three hour session. I cannot say enough great things about her and the other artists at Old Towne Tattoo. They are all very welcoming and kind, not to mention extremely talented. I drove three hours to see her and it was every bit worth it! The shop is well lit and very sanitary which I appreciate. All the artists are extremely cleanly and professional. This shop is very clean and professional. Everyone in the shop was easy to talk to and made you feel at home. I went in as a walk-in, although I talked to Dom beforehand on Instagram (@domshow). He was friendly and accommodating, and even though it wasn't my first tattoo, if it had been, I would've been very at ease and comfortable. Charlene Davis their cosmetic tattooer and microblader did an amazing job on my eye brows. In my years over 50 I had slowly lost ALL my eye brow hair and she was able to PAINLESSLY do a powder brow tattoo and micro blading technique in 1 session! They look like real hair too! I have never had a tattoo and was intimidated but she kept me comfortable through the whole experience. My husband can't take his eyes off me! The facility is attractive and welcoming. We interviewed the artists two weeks before our appointment as this was our first tattoo. Dom took my sail ship ideas and designed something similar but quite special. The result is fabulous and the detail with the sail rigging is impressive.
