But I would not know that unless they mentioned it. Anyway I was given a price of $11.99 which was a good price. Well I get to the store. I ask a guy who works there about the wine I was looking for and instead of saying "I don't know the answer." he gives me the wrong answer. I almost start heading back to downtown to the winery but the traffic was crazy. So I pull over and look up the wine online. The guy should have said, "I don't know." instead of giving me bad information. So I paid for the wine which ended up being $1 more than I was quoted but the guy at the register was also cranky because I was so frustrated with the entire situation of stupid. Well I did calm down but this is the last time I will ever go back there. I would rather go to Walmart which I absolutely dislike and I would never spend a nickel at Broudy's because he could give two tosses about St Augustine except for all the money he will be making. So if I really need alcohol or wine there is a drive in store by the Winn Dixie which is totally out of my way but they might have more intelligent and nicer staff.

She screamed at me as I tried to open up the refrigerator to get a cooled Sauvignon Blanc, not seeing the aggressive sign it was ONLY for the worker to touch the wine. Then she screamed at my daughter looking at an umbrella. Talk about anger issues! This shop was the exact opposite experience. I was greeted upon walking in, offered assistance to pick out wine and the owner engaged with my daughter. I was so much happier to spend my money here vs Fort Alley. I ended up getting some Italian reds, a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and some wines from my Paso Robles in Southern California, one of my favorite wine regions. I was hoping to get some Prosciutto but the shop was all out. The shopkeeper explained there was a rush from customers and she didn't get her regular order in. It was completely understandable. And appreciated her sharing why it wasn't available rather than being dismissive like at the previous wine shop I was at over at Fort Alley. I am so glad I came to this shop. I come to St. Augustine often to visit my family and I'll be back.

I asked about another bottle and he gave me some info on that one too. I love how they never try to pressure me, they are very helpful and honest. I got the store pick and now my husband is happy! I am the best wife ever! I also got a friend a bottle of the walking dead bourbon because it's zombies, and zombies are awesome (also I bought my husband a bottle and he said it's pretty good!)

This shop is small, but packs everything you'd need for a weekend of fun. They have liquor of every variety (excluding rare stuff, they focus on the big names) as well as mixers, ice, plastic cups, etc. It met our needs and the location could not be better for a quick liquor run (parking right out front).

There was 10 of us, but only 4 who drink beer. My sister and I enjoy wine and I spotted this gem right across the street! We split a tasting for $15 and tried 4 samplings of wine. Chardonnay- which wasn't dry enough for my sisters taste, cranberry- we both enjoyed this light wine, blueberry which was lightly sweet and lastly strawberry. The strawberries were harvested from Plant City and this was like summer in a bottle. I picked that one to take home. Even my sister was impressed with this bottle. Cranberry was her favorite. There were a couple other ladies who came in as we were finishing our tasting and they left with several bottles and very happy. I love the shop and I am sure to be back!
