We booked a ride for 2 people from the Mesa/Gateway airport to Tempe. The driver was waiting for us when we landed. That's the only nice thing I have to say. The van was cramped (even though we were the only people on it) and it smelled awful. Seatbelts were hard to maneuver and didn't sit in the right spot on your body. Getting into and out of the small door with steep stairs was unpleasant, especially with suitcases. (We're average-sized humans - both BMI under 25. Larger guests may have had to use handicap ramp.) There were lights in the van that weren't wired properly, so they flashed when the van bounced. Also, the van was clearly not designed to be comfortable. I'm pretty short and the windows were too low for me to easily watch the scenery go by. Worst of all, there was a line of cabs sitting at the airport and Lyft would have been half the price. Do NOT use this service. There are many other options that are readily available, less expensive, and more pleasant.

During the call, the rep requested access to my phone to help me navigate the process. I allowed it and he proceeded to access my bank account and steal $975 from me!! He then attempted to charge my bank account through Uber $500 eight different times within the following hour. I have a bank statement, confirming this. The attempted charges come from Uber. I have contacted Uber on more than 15 occasions since the incident, never getting any real attention whatsoever. Instead, I always get an automated message telling me since the charges did not go through, they are closing the case. And just like that, I am dismissed! There is no getting a hold of a live human at Uber. It's all automated and it's all generic and nobody there cares about my situation. Needless to say, I will never recommend or use this company ever again. Ever. Uber is the most unprofessionally run business I've ever used in my entire life. My advice to anyone considering using Uber is to find a different service. This company is not worth giving your money to. They should be ashamed of themselves. We took the mine your, which was short, but interesting and informative. Made me glad was I wasn't a miner! We also took the haunted bordello tour. The bottom floor of the bordello is a gift shop, so we were only on the second floor, which is quite small. The pull the curtains to make the place dark, light a candle, and begin with the ghost accounts of the place. They hand out a couple of ghost hunting told, and take you to the two rooms where ghosts have been reported. It was fun! We also visited the mystery shack, which is a building built in two different angles so it looks like gravity is defied (water running toward, etc ). It was really fun, but kind of disorienting and kind of a workout. I almost feel twice. There are little shops with lots of Arizona-themed items (like paperweights with scorpions in them), cowboy hats and boots, and Western shirts. After going into all the shops, we went to the saloon for dinner. This place is very touristy, but we had a fun afternoon.

Yellow Cab has gotten me home numerous occasions, all safe rides and incredible how so many of the cab drivers know the roads without GPS. Kind of impressive. Sometimes cabs can be cheaper than rideshare if there is a surge happening. I like to mix up my travel just to try to other options out and to not get so stuck in certain ways of doing things.
