I called the day before to schedule a hotel pickup from downtown Jackson to the airport. It was easy to schedule a pickup and the driver was five minutes early to get the bags into the car and we were on our way at the designated time. The driver was friendly, sharing information about the area during the drive. Pricing is comparable to other local companies. They accept cash, Venmo, or card as payment. I would schedule car service with this company again if I'm ever in the area. read more

I would highly recommend using Old West Transportation! I called the morning of my flight and they were able to accommodate me. I had Karen as a driver and she was so knowledgable about the history of the area and shared a lot of interesting information. It really was a nice way to end the trip. The woman who picked me up at the lodge where I was staying and took me to the airport was the best taxi driver I've ever had. She arrived early. Seeing me struggling to get my bags down two flights of steps, she came in and helped. (The Alpine House Lodge has no working elevator and no help from staff before 7 a.m.) She was very friendly and a great source of info. She also offered some useful tips about the airport. read more

Absolutely great company! We used Old West Transportation to drive us from Slide Lake Trailhead to the Jackson Hole Tram. Our Driver was Karen and she could not have been more kind. She was 15 min early and allowed us to take pictures and stop to look at the wildlife we saw on the way. She suggested many fun local restaurants, hikes and things to do while in Jackson. Karen also pointed out many unique things about Jackson that we otherwise would not have notice such as the mountain named Sleeping Indian and explained how the antlers used to create the arches in the town are collected by the boy scouts each spring. Old West is very unreliable. I had an early morning pickup and they mixed up the dates despite my confirming the date personally. The owner had a bad attitude about it and took the position that I had mixed it up the dates. Not sure a customer can do much more than call and reconfirm. Regardless, not nice people and not dependable. I recommend using another service. read more

Our driver from the airport to the Teton ranger station was fantastic, don't get me wrong. He had a lot of information to offer us about the Teton area in relation to hiking. But the owner of the company is absolutely rude. As back country hikers, we ended up needing a ride from Jenny Lake Ranger Station to the Granite Trailhead due to the our itinerary being changed because of the busy week of campers. He was going to charge us $100 to go maybe 10 miles. He proceeded to be rude with me on the phone explaining for me to stand in a certain spot to wait for the driver and if I wasn't there he was going to charger my card anyways. He was very short with me on the phone. After hanging up with him, within 2 min we were offered a ride from a local. I called Paul (owner) back and nicely asked if it was possible to cancel the ride, he said "I just sent the driver, so you are lucky!" then hangs up on me... I told the ranger station about how rude the owner was to me and recommended them not to recommend their service anymore. I was nice to Paul the entire time, simply asked questions, he was mean, scary, and rude on the phone. I would not recommend this company due to the owner. read more
