Paid 17k for a small patio and landscaping. Hired Old Savannah Gardens, a local company that seemed to know what they were doing. Pavers growing weeds up everywhere (done pavers before in 3 different homes, never had weeds growing up between. One step that I was charged $700 for, the steps fall off, never cemeneted in. Landscaping even worse. We have deer (told them this), everything was dear resistant, all eaten after a week. They came back to take pics and noticed, said they would replace. Nearly 1 year later no response, no call. We emailed multiple times, visited the Pooler Plant Station at least 4 times and were put on the list (we watched). Never a return call. Nothing. 17k down the tubes. Do not use this company! Stay away! read more

Hired them to install a garden and firepit. Did a great job on the firepit. On the garden side, they planted several plants too shallow and when e tried to contact them to correct, we got no response and we wound up replanting them ourselves. Later I contacted them to get a quote on repairing some sunken and heaving pavers in our driveway. They responded immediately and said they would do it at no charge on March 21st--I am assuming because of the garden problem. The workers never showed up and I finally got back in touch with them and they promised to reschedule. Two months have passed now and neither Heather, Ross or Trent has answered my attempts to get a reschedule date. They have been very poor at responding to us and so far have not stood behind their work or word regarding the garden or paver project. read more

We live in a community not far from pooler plant pick up/ olde savannah gardens and they did some work for one of our Board members so they came highly recommended. Bad mistake, they changed the date to one when no one was available to be out there, they planted uneven and some things have died. We asked them to come back and fix the problem and were communicating with them to come, They never came, I saw them today in my neighborhood and I should have put this sooner so that another unsuspecting person won't get bad treatment. I would not recommend them, they have done work for other people in our community and they too were not pleased. Stay away, Theres a great place down Ogeechee Road, that has a large selection of plants and I wish we had gone there first. read more

Very helpful and knowledgeable people. They have an extensive selection of plants, grass, and yard equipment. I also like taking a little visit over to the chicken coop. I will revisit once the spring comes to see what they have for me to dig in the dirt again. read more

I don't usually write reviews but I felt that in this case, it was well deserved. I had always noticed how beautiful the roadside of this business was on my way to work but never had time to stop. On weekend, a few weeks ago, I did. As soon as I arrived, a staff member immediately approached me and started guiding me around the nursery. I had no idea the place was so big because there's another huge area for plants behind the house that you can't see from the road. After talking and finding out a wealth of knowledge from the worker, I also found out that they did installations. I set up a time to meet with one of the owners, Heather, for the following week. She arrived on time ( which was very important because I was on my lunch break) and I received an estimate the next day. From that point, I gave the deposit, scheduled a date to start, and received a beautiful installation. The plants well exceeded my expectation in quality and the St. Augustine sod they installation was delivered looked very fresh. I am extremely pleased with the new paver patio and fire pit that was installed. We've used it almost every night since. The only negative thing I could say about my experience was the amount of parking space available. They have a very small parking lot but I soon realized that all the side street parking was available also. Every time I stopped by the store, it was always packed with customers so sometimes, I had to wait to get in. I have already recommended "Olde Savannah Gardens" to my friends who they are also doing work for and will recommend them to anyone who needs garden help! read more

Terrible customer service, but at least they refunded my money. I paid half up front (about $300) for a tree installation and set up an appointment for about two weeks out. The installation window came and went with no one showing up. I called and they couldn't give me any information about when the installation crew would arrive. The first person couldn't even find my reservation. I was finally told that I had misunderstood the arrival window (my fault of course), but the crew would be to my house that day. Well, 8 hours later still no one had shown up. I called again and once again received absolutely no information as to when/if anyone would show up. I finally just asked that my money be refunded. It was credited to my card about three days later. I even emailed the owner Ross, who just chalked it up to "things like this happen". His reply was more of a form letter response than anything specific. I really liked that he ends his response emails with "thanks for your business", when the point of my email was to explain why he would NOT be receiving by business. Whatever you do, don't give these people any money until the requested service has been completed. read more

Not trustworthy-stay away from these people. Sales ability is 3 or 4 star but quality of sod, warranties and follow-up service, ie, standing by their work is meaningless. January 2015 they measured the area to be sodded and said it required 4 palates of St. Augustine. I have since had the same area re-sodded by a reputable firm and in required only 2 palates. Unfortunately I paid for 4. I suspect my shortage was sold to someone else. Olde Savannah's sod had an extremely high rye grass content. I mentioned that to them and they said not to worry the St Augustine would replace it when it died. By April huge sections of what little St. Augustine that was in the sod died and Ross told us to have it treated by a lawn service. I responded that the fungus was in the sod they sold us since the portions of our non replaced lawn was fungus free. No response from Ross. In May we had 50 bales of pine straw installed and I showed Heather the deplorable condition of the sod as the rye grass was dying. She said that it was now too late to re sod, perhaps the St. Augustine would begin to grow and if it didn't they would " do the right thing." By fall the weeds had taken over. Repeated calls to Heather were not returned. March 2016 we requested a quote for additional landscaping and pine straw. Heather was here immediately but refused to do anything about our sod. Obviously the additional work will go to someone more trustworthy. We paid $1850 for Olde Savannah's substandard sod and have had the same area re sodded for $900 by a well know and reputable firm. The new sod has absolutely no rye grass. read more

we bought 3 loads of dirt from them on sat. first thing we were told the driver didn't show until afternoon but the dirt was good quality so we ordered another load to be delivered on wednesday, they never showed then we were told thursday again didn't happen they apologized and said friday for sure its now saturday and still no dirt and now I've checked my credit card and they charged me for 4 loads saturday and the load I've been waiting for since wed my husband has called several times and no resolution so far also we ordered a $450 dollar tree installation so we have been charged about $1500 dollars in the last week and can't get satisfaction aaaaaaaaaah read more
