That shopping area in particular has so many different options but Everbowl definitely ties everything together. Upon walking in, the first thing that struck me was the very well-done interior design. It felt very chic and modern in there. The music was oddly turned so low that it was hard to hear which was a bit strange. The açaí bowl itself was really good and, in my opinion, a decent value for what it costs. The fruit tasted fresh enough and the rest of the bowl wasn't too sweet. I have had many açaí bowls that were way too sweet but the ones at Everbowl are at a good sweet level. The biggest downfall here is the customer service. The workers here clearly do not care at all. Talking with them feels like I am conversing with a robot that is not getting enough power supply. Overall, I'm glad they're in the neighborhood but it would be nice to experience some better customer service when visiting.

Take the picture of the everbowl they advertise, remove about 80% of the açaí, and that's what it actually looks like. A lot of restaurants are downsizing portions and charging the same price, but this might be the most blatant example of false advertising I've seen. Do not visit unless you want to pay $12 + tax for three bites of açaí.

Smoothies: I usually never buy anything here besides smoothies, and rightfully so (see next section). Island Green is my go-to as a treat. I've tried the Health Nut, Mango Magic, Orange Ginger Glow, and Sunrise Sunset. Smoothies run on the sweet side. Food: Pass. My partner keeps trying the food when he picks up smoothies (mainly out of convenience since he's already there and I made the same mistake today). Today, is the last smoothie straw, I will stick to smoothies only and skip the food. We have tried the quesadillas, flatbreads, and wraps. Why "no" to the food? -Sad portions. Skimps on every single ingredient for the salad. Wraps were okay two out four times, and quesadillas are small with not enough cheese overall. -The price for the portion (I understand inflation but the portion was like a kid's meal - $8.79 salad, not including tax) -Hit or miss on order accuracy (today's order is the only one I documented the mistake before I forgot. The receipt said, "no wontons" and then they add parmesan crisps to my Thai Chicken salad? See photo. I don't like parm crisps - removed parm crisps at home. Luckily, I'm not allergic to it.) Space: Open with decent amount of seating. Price: Average for smoothies. Overpriced for the food portion.

I genuinely don't understand what's going on at Playa Bowls…read more The bowls? Great. Service? Totally fine. The space? Adorable--full beach bungalow fantasy. You walk in expecting a little reggae, maybe some surf rock, something that says "you're on vacation." Instead... absolute dead silence. Like a library where everyone accidentally ordered açaí. Why am I whispering to my girlfriend at noon over fruit? Why does it feel like I'm about to get shushed by a librarian? After 22 years in hospitality, I can tell you: turning the music off is the universal signal for "please leave." Even blackout drunk people clock it immediately. So what is the strategy here? Is this some advanced "turn and burn" technique where we emotionally nudge people out with awkward silence? Because congrats, it works. I've never wanted to finish a perfectly good bowl faster in my life. The wild part is you clearly care about every other detail. You built the whole vibe... and then forgot the one thing that makes humans act normal in a room. I'm not asking for a DJ set. Just anything. A ukulele. A Spotify playlist. A dude humming in the back. Give me something so I don't feel like I'm eating in a meditation chamber where talking is discouraged. Great spot. Seriously. Just... please, for the love of god, press play.

You can order on the app, at the kiosk or at the counter. We specifically came here looking for avocado smash but it wasn't on the menu so when we asked, they did their magic and we were able to order one (or two). What we swallowed: *AVOCADO MATCHA CAP WITH PUDDING: This had a great avocado taste. Not necessarily an avocado smash but at least it didn't have a fake taste. The matcha cap was perfect. *MANGO SNOW SLUSH: This was tasty. Not too sweet. *AVOCADO WITH BOBA: Consistent avocado taste. *THAI MILK STRIKE: This was delicious. The employees were friendly and they drinks came out quick. We would definitely come here again!

We got a matcha with boba and a taro with boba. The matcha was good, but the taro tasted like too much artificial powder was used - it tasted buttery and we couldn't finish it. The boba also seemed undercooked. Given I've been to other locations and they were always good, this seems like it could've been a one-time thing and I wouldn't discourage others from trying it, especially because KFT is one of the better brands in the area!

She said black tea and he inputted in her order . When we got the order, it wasn't fresh milk tea, but black tea with milk foam. The skinnier staff member with bob cut hair stated that they didn't have fresh milk, which is just whole milk, to my wife. When I walked over he recanted saying they only have fresh milk for the winter melon tea. I told him the only difference is that they put that in the black tea and he feigned ignorance that he didn't know how to make it. This kid lied to our face since he's made this for us plenty of times. I'm not sure if it's new management and this is how they are training their staff but I'll be sure to let our friends know not to come here anymore. Lastly, he also had the audacity to tell us "You got what you ordered" when this wasn't what we asked for and he was right there when we ordered it.
