We had 2 very large, but newly wonky-looking, trees in our front yard. Had a certified arborist/tree surgeon out to take a look at them, and the trees - which I had assumed just needed a little extra care/TLC - were deemed goners (sniff!). This company quoted more than $2000 to remove the trees. But why do I need a certified arborist for trees that are beyond saving, y'know? Time to look elsewhere - and I landed on HALA. So far I've had Kevin & Co remove and haul away the 2 trees, as well as a gross ol' shrub that I hated. In their places they planted a young Live Oak tree and helped me map out a really pretty (and really low-maintenance!) flower bed, and surrounded it all with a beautiful stacked flagstone border. I love it! They've also done a killer job at mowing & edging the front & back yard - we'll definitely have them back to do that on the regular, and likely some seasonal powerwashing of the driveway and walkways too. I'm superimpressed with how thorough the work HALA does is, how quick they are to get it done (on every level - it's a matter of a day or 2 between a quote and scheduled work starting (thought I'd have to wait weeks or something), and they work through each project very quickly), and the incredibly reasonable cost of the work they do. Didn't he only stop communicating, he didn't even put the whole assembly together prior to him leaving the property.
